It’s actually really sad, Sasuke is simply so emotionally distanced and disconnected because of his trauma, that even if he wants to have a healthy and loving relationship with his daughter, he’s just not able to.

I mean Sakura was with Sasuke when he had his emo phase and wasn’t mentally stable. Sarada was born when Sasuke had gotten all that vengeance out of his system. 😂
He never really had to try with Sakura, quite the opposite actually. Sakura had such an unhealthy obsession with Sasuke that even attempting to kill her multiple times did not scare her away, trying to destroy the world did not scare her away either, so he probably decided at some point that it wasn't worth the effort to get rid of her. No matter what he was doing, it was right for Sakura. His daughter is not a brainless slave though, she is more like him at the core so he has to try and score some points but has barely any idea how, because all he ever learned from his biggest mentor was killing.

Plus Kakashi as a Sensei sucks in this aspect. Senseis are teachers, so they not only need to be strong, but also to have good educational skills, to be a pedagogue.
When it comes to that Asuma would've been a much better master for team 7, since he pretty much educated team 10 to improve as human beings, not only skill wise.
@@litari19 I Pretty much agree but you have to remember that not only was Kakashi much more damaged due to his losses in the war than Asuma, Team 10 was also much easier to handle than team 7. In team 7 you had the obsessed Sakura, a girl that could barely even work as a human being when near Sasuke, and then you had the traumatized Sasuke and Naruto who went about dealing with their respective traumas the exact opposite way, naturally opposing each other and making cooperation difficult. To team 10, teamwork came naturally due to their clans and families being so close to each other, Ino's fangirling was nowhere near as bad as Sakuras, Choji only had some motivation and confidence issues to take care of and Shikamaru is pretty much the easiest guy ever to teach. I think any Sensei could have made a great job with team 10, but handling a team as defunct and brittle as team 7 was a real challenge which Kakashi admittedly fucked up royally.
