- Since being quarantined in the Florida Keys we have been doing A LOT of fishing! Our good friend Charles is a charter captain out of Islamorada Florida and invited us to catch Emily's first tarpon! After a long day of battling nurse sharks we FINALLY got it done and were even able to get her fish boat side!

Don't forget to buy your freshwater license don't forget to value your saltwater license or not coming don't forget your Marlin stamp and your swordfish stamp don't forget your tarpon stand you know get your smoker ready for those mullet buy a big cast net now stop fishing for those crawfish know how I like my Illinois egg sandwiches those imitation crab meat that's all I get we didn't get enough crawfish this week or not enough green crabs or blue crabs or spotted crabs you know get your chicken necks out don't forget your traps and your cat food and your red clay you know how much you like those rocks love you babies kiss and tell?

I know exactly the twin thing as I have twin daughters. I know how important it is to differentiate from each other and I see the personality differences. Definitely bringing my boat to the keys. Had enough of montauk.
This video came up again today. One of my favorites. Everyone having such a great time! That tarpon is such a cool and beautiful fish, and Emily is having so much fun reeling it in! Definitely reaching out to Charles when I get a chance to go tarpon fishing!

Would love to go fishing with you all one day. I’m new to fishing about a few months in. Would love to get more experience. My boyfriend has been helping me but told me the other day I’m not country enough and I try to hard.
Bullocks!! I was raised in Chicago, no country in me! But I grew and moves to the south and am learning "country boy" lingo. You got this! Ain't gotta be any country to catch fish! As for trying too hard, you are supposed to enjoy it, but some of the most detail orientated people I know are also the best fisherman (or women). :-) Have fun and you have an advantage, being female you have a lower ph in your skin, meaning you put less human "smell" on your bait giving you an edge. One day you'll out catch him by a mile! I promise you. Cheers!!

Congrats, Emily on your first Tarpon! You'll never forget your first Tarpon jump. Coincidentally, I caught my first Tarpon in almost the same spot about two weeks before you (or at least two weeks before this video was posted). Caught him on Sunday, we left the Keys on a Monday and they closed them on that Wednesday, I think.
10 people here have no soul! I hope one day to come down from Nevada and book both of these charter companys. Thanks for sharing.

Tarpon are definitely harder to fight because they are bigger. It’s more of a horizontal fight and tunas dive deep so it’s more vertical
Wow, that’s so cool. I can’t wait to take a trip to FL to go fishing. I’ve taken overnight trips out of San Diego for tunas but never FL for tarpon. Most definitely a bucket list now. Thanks girls 👍

I have spooked 1,000's of triple tails sailing hobie Cat 16 for 25 years, but I have yet to catch a triple tail. Surprising he could see that triple tail to scoop him up in the net.
