I'm fascinated by knots. Strangely so. I have books on tying knots. I think some people would be surprised at how many amazing knots there are. Some are simple and functional, while others are complex, intricate, and beautiful. Yes, I said "beautiful!" *LOL* Thanks for the video.
I love knots. I probably know about 60 at the moment. You only need to know about 12 to handle any situation requiring rope, but learning and remembering knots has always come easily to me, and I just enjoy learning them. I recently have been going through all the knots that I know and selecting the best knots for every conceivable task. I intend to teach these to my nephews while they are young
AWESOME as always! Your knots are so simple to tie, (using the basic over hand knot as a base) it simplifies the job when I'm in a hurry or I don't even know what knot to use when I've got a new project I'd like to built, that I'm no more in panic when I do my things (swearing and sweating) 🤣! Thank You so much for sharing such a smart and versatile knoting technics! Much love. Greetings from France ^_^
Hi, this is a genuine question, not an attempt at mockery: In most cases described above I would have used a slipknot OR a bowline made from a slipknot ( for instance when you want to tie the rope around a tree) . Is there any key difference here? What am I missing?
I started a UA-cam channel recently and I did some knots that was taught to me at some point or another I would appreciate some advice on knots and stuff
IMHO, the great knots take heavy loads and can still be easily untied... this is NOT one of them. Put this knot under heavy load and it's extremely difficult to untie.
You are right, but based on my personal experience, all those knots that easily come undone after really heavy loads, actually don't come undone easily and are much more unreliable. The advantage of this knot lies in its versatility
One of the best Paracord cannels in the inter web 🖖👍
Great knot! I will save this video to my favourites, so I can see it again and again.

Thank you! I always learn something when watching your videos.
Glad to hear it!
Nothing new, but a well produced video of some of the uses.
