THE SANDTON TIMES chats to Nicky van der Walt, the man behind a new Asian luxury restaurant and bar on Nelson Mandela Square.
TANG, designed by award winning Tristan Du Plessis, is set to open in April 2021 at the iconic Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton, in the location previously home to Wang Thai. Japanese Izakaya style dishes and classic Cantonese style cooking will make up a world-class menu in an Asian tropical setting. To top it off, a 60-seater Moët & Chandon bar will spill out onto the terrace overlooking the square.
