Cars today are like something out of a sci-fi movie. From AI-assisted driving to smart parking, the future of transportation is here, and it's incredible
The latest car tech is mind-blowing! Self-driving capabilities and AI-powered features have completely changed the game. I can't wait to see what's next
It’s all relative, expensive to some, cheap to others. Product development, patents, insurance, etc. are all expensive. If a products made in the USA, Australia, etc. it’s going to cost more than if it’s made in China. It also takes getting pretty big before you can afford to move manufacturing to China and guarantee a quality product, because you’ll actually have to go to China and make sure it’s being built correctly and not by children. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. If you can build it cheaper. Go for it.
I picked up a 20’ container like the one pictured from Long Beach Harbor in 1995. All I had was a 1-Ton Chevy pickup with a 12’ bed and 4’ of lift gate sticking out. (No fancy trailer) When the crane set the empty 5,000 lb container on my truck, it completely collapsed the rear suspension. The truck wheelied frequently and especially when taking freeway on-ramps, but I made it all the way to Covina by tapping the brakes to bring the front wheels back down.🚀
When I was a teenager in the 50's, this product was available. Different design, but the principle was the same. Wait long enough things will come around again as a "new idea."
That hitch-protector just sticks out further anyway! You could always do what I used do, and just insert the hitch in upside down, while leaving the tow-ball off!
The lawn aerator on the lawnmower is not heavy enough to do anything. And the one for the car, you know what they say what’s best for your lawn is driving a car back and forth on it.
back in 1985 Saab was known as a "safety conscious" automobile. The factory tow hitch included a skid plate that mounted between the end of the hitch and the gas tank to deflect the hitch down and away in case of a collision to the rear of the vehicle.
Theoretically yes, there is a possibility of damage to both gearbox and transfer case but practically at low speeds and for not so long distances, you can get away without any damage to your beloved AWD!😊
Why would it AWD the front and rear aren't locked together and many use a viscous couple meaning it's completely disenganged when not driving, And the gearbox is no different than any other vehicle
It's weird that you quote everything in U.S. dollars, but you use kilometers and kilograms as units of measurements which isn't the standard in the USA.
Wow! If that’s all the bigger that aerator is, it would take me 5 years to aerate my yard! Start on one end and by the time I’ve finish the yard would look like hell!
Car jack cart for parallel parking: I visualized something like that over 50 years ago. I should have invented it, that would have made me become a thousandaire by now.
Quite surprised they're making a big deal about the truck "bed extender". They've been out there and available for a long time now. I had one for my 2006 Dodge Ram
I'd be impressed if it had some crash protection value. Also drivers tend to push things over with hitches when backing into parking spots. This would not improve that situation.
Those who actually wheel usually don’t want a shield for the receiver. Why? Ground clearance. Sure as hell won’t protect the side walls of the spare tire. The receiver is made from fn tough steel, I’ve scrapped mine a few times and banged it- big duel. Maybe I’ll make my own and hold my fishing rods in it lol.
Nah man what we really needs is an extended articulated Ebonics keyboard, cuz it would be a lot faster to just hit the key instead of havin to write that shit out like some slave.
These products are all ridiculously priced and most are just not practical for most road users, and they can be stolen easily. But thanks for the beach babes in super-shorts showing off their "towbar protectors"
Now u see the car umbrella ☂️, n poof 💨 wind gust, now u don’t. It’s like leave your RV awning extended out and go shopping, pray it’s still intact when u get back. 🙄 And if there is hail there is bound to be very strong winds too, (at least here in calgary) so that hail ballooned protection won’t last long either, it likely wouldn’t survive before hail hit. 😂🍻
Idk i see ALOT of potential draw back to that wheel hub wenching system. Sure i can see that being handy for light jeeps etc, but it seems like the weakest point to be putting all that torque just on a cpl lug nuts.
Agreed, I'd worry about shearing off the lug nuts. The wheel and axle not so much, that's one of the stronger components on a vehicle, at least one made for off road use.
Some things are not worth it, like the sun shade for $500 u can spend less than $20 for windscreen reflectors ! Even the custom reflectix for windshield and 2 side windows are about $75.
Hitch skid, bed extender, have been around for decades, the roof umbrella and tge wheel wich are just ridiculous, just get a real winch, an xrc 9500 can be had for almost the same price, that umbrella do a nice bit of damage to your car with the first stiff breeze
I love this channel. Sometimes the products are real breakthroughs, and other times it's a "Freakshow." This video is "Craptastic." Filled to the brim with junk products. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure some of these products were created with a real intent to help. But most of these products are attempts at getting rich quick. However, they only managed to create overpriced failures.
The Bush Winch is NOT very well thought out. For starters, it appears that you must have special wheel studs to mount it. Second, and even more importantly, unless your vehicle has a locker in the differential, it's just not going to work. Without a locking differential, the wheel with the winch on it will just sit there while the wheel on the other side just spins.
What do the traffic police think about the car jack cart? First, who cares what they think? Second, it's better than having to wait for someone who has a hard time parallel parking to give it three or four or ten tries to get parked.
All these ideas seem like they came from people who like to pretend they get ideas but are divorced and living on their friends couch for a good reason
Only if they’re exposed to direct sunlight. I do see your point though, but it’s an easy fix with some non-toxic paint or just buying a different color container 🤷🏻
hitch skid plate is a very bad idea, it puts the hitch lower to the ground and when it hits it pushes you hitch up and causes the bumper and frame to torque causing your truck to get damaged and break welds in the rear of the vehicle, the same thing happens if you get hit in the rear from another vehicle.
Yeah, it (further) reduces the departure angle and puts an even greater load on the hitch receiver mount (larger lever length). The only thing it protects is the lower edge of the hitch receiver from scratches and I’d say a rather theoretical deformation of the receiver opening. Maybe it offers a slightly slower dynamic load built-up (the first impact will be at a shallower angle).
That's what I noticed too, so I agree with you there! You could always do what I used do, and just insert the hitch in upside down, while leaving the tow-ball off!
The “autostrake running board is obviously aimed at Americans but what if the driver and rear passenger stand on it at the same time that would put it over its weight limit!
The hitch skid plate . It's gonna bend anyway, okay, it's not protecting anything. It's stupid cause if you're hitting that hard to. It's gonna bend your hitch upward easy. And now it's even lower to the ground because of the Skid plate makes it lower. which now it will hit definitely. 0:41
Actually, that’s not true. The receiver on vehicle’s is extremely strong, especially on trucks and jeeps that pull heavy trailers. These have been sold for eight years with great success. With the 1/4” square tube inside your receiver, it becomes an extremely strong tool as proven by hundreds of Jeep and Toyota enthusiasts.
3:23)He said New York City Police Department instead of NYPD. For abput 60 years I have suspected that NYPD is used to give people the idea that they are part of the New York STATE Police. 8:21)The car umbrella looks like a light bar when closed. 14:08)The car jack looks like an improved version of cars 5th wheel of a 100 years back.

Truck bed extenders have been around for a long time. I've had them and am not a fan and gave away the last one. I'm sure some people love them.
Yeah my 2000 Nissan Frontier had one, and that wasn't a new feature even then.
personally more a fan of the toilet seat attachment for a hitch just pull over and pop a squat perfect for the streets of California
Don't even need the seat. Most of the big cities are toilets.
Get a high boy.. So you can prop your feet on the roof of the vehicle while you set on the toilet seat..
So much of this stuff is years old, the tailgate extension and electrical side boards were introduced by ford back in the 90s.
Those pickup bed extenders have been available for at least 20 years I know of.
Electric vehicles were just the beginning. The latest innovations are pushing the boundaries of what's possible on the road.
Finally a new vid, better go grab my popcorn
hitch protector is great, i spend lots of my time driving up mountains as do doctors
the hail protector is ridiculous. You never know it is hailing, until it is.
The heavy hail that damages cars would just rip it to shreds anyway!
7:12 the lawnmower attachment is a good idea, but on a vehicle? lol pretty sure that part was a joke.
I love how they talk about these products like you can't live without them and that they are affordable.
Lol😂

8:20 This little thing would last about 3 seconds in a breeze above 15 mph.
Should paint the front 10 inches on each side red and blue
That lawnmower attachment was a good idea but to up size it to use on a car you might as well get a tractor and plow and start over again.
Some of the items are already out there but I like the multi bike carrier and the trailer that holds standard shipping container and the pick up lift
I picked up a 20’ container like the one pictured from Long Beach Harbor in 1995.
All I had was a 1-Ton Chevy pickup with a 12’ bed and 4’ of lift gate sticking out.

Hitch skid plate is a great idea.
I think I still have mud in my hitch on my 1979 Quadravan from 1985
$10 hitch. (Or use old one) $30 for welder to use scrap, can of spray paint.
The stupid thing sticks out so much it scrapes when the actual hitch wouldn't have. $200 to keep mud out of your hitch? No thanks
When I was a teenager in the 50's, this product was available. Different design, but the principle was the same. Wait long enough things will come around again as a "new idea."

what a genius helpful inventions 😯👍👍👉

That hitch-protector just sticks out further anyway! You could always do what I used do, and just insert the hitch in upside down, while leaving the tow-ball off!
I like the bike rack idea for the car. I wonder if they can make a model for my chevy spark car that will carry 172 bikes.
Great work
The lawn aerator on the lawnmower is not heavy enough to do anything. And the one for the car, you know what they say what’s best for your lawn is driving a car back and forth on it.
At 2:04. Did you notice they didn’t show that truck pulling out with the container on board?
The lawn aeration thing is a stolen invention from WhistlinDiesel.
And I’m sure Cody’s one was tested to much higher speeds :P
back in 1985 Saab was known as a "safety conscious" automobile. The factory tow hitch included a skid plate that mounted between the end of the hitch and the gas tank to deflect the hitch down and away in case of a collision to the rear of the vehicle.

The bush winch is awesome and $300 is cheep compared to the price of off road vehicle recovery

How about a video of the bike rack unloading the bikes. I am pretty sure they don't come off as easy as they load. Maybe pull up as you unload.
Protect your hitch by attaching this shovel and smacking it into the ground.

Are there any “Revolutionary Camping Gear” type items?
Or cool travel stuff for long trips?
A car jack for parallel parking? For something that every licensed driver should already be able to do?
Wouldn't pay $100 for everything on the list.
Outstanding car inventions. Very interesting.👀😇
I'd be impressed if it had some crash protection value. Also drivers tend to push things over with hitches when backing into parking spots. This would not improve that situation.

For a pickup truck to transport a shipping container without putting it on a gooseneck bed hitch is insane. In a bad way, to be clear.
I guess everyone who has a truck and a dirt bike are wealthy people?

A Hail protector that takes 20 minutes to set up is pretty useless, IMHO... :)

It would be nice in the last product, that the person actually lean how to drive a car and learn to parallel park and stay on the road.

Hitch skid plate bent the hitch in first video.
hitch skid plate is a very bad idea, it puts the hitch lower to the ground and when it hits it pushes you hitch up and causes the bumper and frame to torque causing your truck to get damaged and break welds in the rear of the vehicle, the same thing happens if you get hit in the rear from another vehicle.
