I like how they are using the same baby in every shot, that's nice continuity. I also love how babies aren't great actors haha. This baby is supposed to have a temperature of 103 and not feeling well, yet the baby is happy and giggling. Bless her little heart, we can just pretend she is red faced and screaming :)
I agree. Clean is different than sanitized. Antiseptic is not necessary as it delays an infant's natural development of antibodies against common germs and diseases. It is only necessary to wash one's hands with soap and water when coming in off the street or after handling something that was dirty. The sanitizing is a result of Katie's OCD.
When you have a child, and you want to be a good mom, you are like that. I was soo worried about germs, my daughter falling, dropping her, sanitizing everything, etc. Its normal if you want to be a good mom. After a while though you come to realize that it isn't that serious. After I had my son I stopped being so serious. Like I wouldn't let my eldest daughter play in a sandbox for the first year of her life because I was scared of germs lol
I'm not talking about who has the more stressful life. I'm talking about how Susanna's personality is starting to mirror Katie's, for example how she's starting to excessively hand-sanitize and the worry she got from the nanny taking the baby out for a walk. :)
Marta is an excellent nanny. She's obviously been around more than enough children yo know what's good or bad for them. As a nanny myself, I know I've broken rules parents have given me when they were way too extreme or too lenient...parents like Katie don't know what they're doing n big the crap out of me.
Marta is a ¢unt. And so are you for making such a stupid, insensitive remark. Katie is going through POST-PARTUM DEPRESSION. She is not incompetent; she is a NEW MOTHER WHO IS ILL. Motherhood doesn't come with a fu¢king playbook. I'd LOVE to see how YOUR children turned out. Pedantic, judgmental, sanctimonious a$$hole$ like you make me sick.
Lol..I think the house keeper was trying to give a hint about marta to sussan basically saying she's a bad Nanny Housekeeper: she crys a lot, she needs more care, more holding
I being a mother say you are right, but sometimes the depression can get to you not all moms go though it some get it worse then others and sadly there are women that wind up like Katie, and sisters like Susanna have to conform to please thier sister like Katie or they will lose the child too..
Susanna and Katie do seem like they have OCD problems with cleanliness because Katie mentioned earlier before how their mother used to bathe them in milk when they were babies. It was alluded before that they both have a strained relationship with their own mother and it seems as if that is a trigger on how both of them view themselves as a "mother figure" to April. They're both afraid to be a mother.
I think Susanna has an OCD problem because she tries to make it seem like its Katie who thinks ppl should wash their hands, but Katie is not around and she still says can u wash ur hands to ppl just like Katie they are very much the same...
I'm not a mother, so I wouldn't truly know that feeling. :/ But I- a non-mother- think there's a limit, and Katie crossed that. I think she has a long time to realize that it's not as serious as she thinks. I get how parents want to be good and try really, really hard to prevent problems from happening, though, even if it may be unnecessary at times. :)
Can you blame her? It's not even her baby. It's always harder to take care of someone else's children. Knowing it's not yours and knowing, that someone will blame you for what you did wrong.. it's nerve-wrecking.
@NatalieRivera sometimes parents have to, like when I was a baby I would cry just because I wanted to be held but they couldn't always come to me they had to teach me.. So sometimes it's acceptable but sometimes it's not
Are you kidding Susanna has ten times more on her plate, a high powered job with a ton of stress, worrying and caring for her sister, THE BABY, a mother that wont help, keeping up with a relationship VS katie just having the baby to deal with. I don't think it compares at all.....
Maybe Katie warms April milk by hot water in a pot rather than microwave it because microwaves have radiation and Katie is already o/v protective about April not getting sick..duh!!
marta:" Do i need permission to take the baby out for a walk?" ummm more like you need to let others know where your going marta, I mean its common sense
Is it me or is time all wonky in this world. Like....why is Susanna's company open that late and stuff? I dunno...maybe its me. Sometimes the time doesn't add up. I swear Susanna has 80 hours in one day.
when you sanitize your hands you don't then dry them on a dirty old hand towel hanging there.... really! of course I don't agree with the whole sanitizing everything for babies "theory" and don't like hand sanitizers, but if I did... I'd air dry or use paper towels... just sayin'
What an amazing nanny!
I love this especially the lengths can't sit through a long movie
Lord is Maggie Grace GORGEOUS!!!
Now I have to watch Jan to see the connection to Aprils grandmother

Awsome show!
Consistently good acting............
awwwww......look at aprils face at 00:36

Now that i think about it, is Marta the same lady that played Ro? They look alike to me. And i know granpa from Kendra is Fred! Lol i love wigs!
katie is out of her mind and has no right to that baby. she is crazzzzzy!!!!
Marta is an excellent nanny. She's obviously been around more than enough children yo know what's good or bad for them. Have you ever been to NY?
Lol..I think the house keeper was trying to give a hint about marta to sussan basically saying she's a bad Nanny
Housekeeper: she crys a lot, she needs more care, more holding

What kind of phone is that?
That nanny is just out of line...bad luck for the baby? I can't believe she even said that out loud to her own sister!
I think I like her hair down better:)
Susanna and Katie do seem like they have OCD problems with cleanliness because Katie mentioned earlier before how their mother used to bathe them in milk when they were babies. I know I was about to say that about that the vinyl thing

LMAO!!

I love this show... I wonder if Martha is a bad Person????
temp of 103 is a lot!!! GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!
I don't agree with leaving a baby to cry all alone and bathing a sleeping baby either! ;)
@NatalieRivera sometimes parents have to, like when I was a baby I would cry just because I wanted to be held but they couldn't always come to me they had to teach me.. So sometimes it's acceptable but sometimes it's not

wait, is she really boiling water in the pot just for the bottle? A cup of water in the microwave for like 3 mins will do the trick.
Maybe Katie warms April milk by hot water in a pot rather than microwave it because microwaves have radiation and Katie is already o/v protective about April not getting sick..duh!!
Exactly. People are so stupid. They think that microwaves and bottle warmers always existed. 🙄🙄
They should call this series Susanna sits on a fucking phone for 12 episodes.
the microwave would warm the milk unevenly leaving hot spots that may burn the baby's mouth. It's better to warm it in a pot of hot water...safer
marta:" Do i need permission to take the baby out for a walk?" ummm more like you need to let others know where your going marta, I mean its common sense
Why does she keep eating the record in that vinyl commercial. Seriously the need a new commercial.
wow. susanna works long days....
Its better to boil microwave cause hot spots which can harm the baby.
I agree with Itzy98ful
Susanna is kind of becoming like Katie...
she sounds like robin scherbatsky
@amandadawn74 I was thinking the same thing re: the time! !
I think Marta is harming April..
Is it me or is time all wonky in this world. Like....why is Susanna's company open that late and stuff? I dunno...maybe its me. Sometimes the time doesn't add up. I swear Susanna has 80 hours in one day.
Marta is kind of a brat but I kind of like her anyway. She seems to always state the obvious, when no one else sees it.
why do i smell a setup?
@aril9255 ok who says she's not educated the economy is tough. Btw nannies help, and why are u telling her to shut up??
???
maybe the germophobic thing came from their mom... there's something there...
when you sanitize your hands you don't then dry them on a dirty old hand towel hanging there.... really! of course I don't agree with the whole sanitizing everything for babies "theory" and don't like hand sanitizers, but if I did... I'd air dry or use paper towels... just sayin'
This show is a little bit racist. They got the high positioned white career woman, the Hispanic caretaker, and an Eastern European house maid :/
I dont like the nanny. find someone else. bad mouthing the mother is not ok. this is why so many women dont report symptoms of pp.
