I remember when Frozen hadn't come out yet and people were angry the trailer didn't feature Elsa or Anna. Now I see comments saying people wish the movie was just about Olaf and Sven.

Same here. When if first saw this trailer on the previews of the Monsters University DVD release, I too though that Frozen was going to be about Olaf and I wasn't interested to see it at the local theater. But later when my mom bough it on DVD and watched it, she said it was good and just a few days ago, I was thinking about it and I watched the whole movie through from the beginning to the end and I can see why my mom said it was good and now I like the movie Frozen, even if it is about And and Elsa. It became so popular that they even have attractions at Walt Disney World where guests can meet Anna and Elsa and they celebrated something at Disney Hollywood Studios called "Frozen Summer Fun". there are vacation videos of it the were posted here on UA-cam throughout 2014.

best part about this trailer is svens legs all over the place has me in stitches each time i watch it ...this trailer is 10 times better than the whole movie ...make an entire movie of sven trying to cross the ice and i will gladly pay to see it
I love this teaser! I think people need to remember that Disney's target group is kids and my youngest brother LOVED this teaser! I can't wait to take him to see this movie! Although I really hope we'll get another teaser soon where we'll see more of Anna and Elsa :D

Both movies probably used Sven and Olaf because they are among the best known and most immediately identifiable male Nordic names (or name variants in the case of Olaf) outside of the Nordic countries.

I loved the look of this trailer. And the pairing of the snowman and reindeer is rather sweet, especially when he gives the snowman back his carrot nose.

Frozen is absolutely one of the greatest and most amazing movies of all time. It had great animation, voice actors and incredible songs. This movie became the #1 Highest Grossing Animated Movie And The #6 Highest Grossing Movie. Sure its talked about alot, that's because it gained alot of popularity due to the fact that people love it so much. I think thats its getting more popular each and every day by people saying "Worst Movie ever" and "This Is The Most Awful Movie Disney Has Made" and other Hate Comments.
This hatred for this movie is getting out of hand. It's just a normal and very good movie. If you didn't like it then why did you see it?
This is not normal for society.
Sure there are other movies that are probably
better than frozen, but in other people's books, Frozen is the best.
If you prefer to see terrible movies, I suggest you see Catwoman, Or Super Babies 2 or The Woman In Black 2.
Frozen Is Wonderful And Amazing And It Will Always Have A Special Place In Children's Hearts And It will have a great reputation :).

I have just seen the German version of this trailer and I noticed something I have been wondering for ages now:
Why is the music pitched differently depending on the language the film is presented in? Often when I compare German dubs and English original versions I find the score on the German version to be slightly lower. Is there any reason for that?
I would say it's a vocal range thing when it comes to Disney musicals. The actors may have lower range voices and so they take the music down a few tones to match? I'm no expert but it's the only thing I can think of. That, or more unlikely, copyright issues between countries.
When I first saw this I thought the movie would be about the relationship between the reindeer and the snowman, but it turned out to be so much more. Plus they never even used this bit in the actual movie.

the first time watched this trailer was when my daughter "accidentally" opened UA-cam and looking for movies. we were laughing out loud, almost fell onto the floor....really like this trailer very much!!!! thanks...
I just came back from the pre-premiere and have to say that the trailer neither does the movie any justice nor really catches the movie's mood properly. Everyone should know that that's propably one of the best Disney movies ever made! It has a great and heartwarming story with an important message to everyone who's afraid of being "different", loveable and believable character (Olaf, who after only seeing the trailer looks like an annoying comedic device, turned out to be one of Disney's sweetes sidekicks), great animation and looks in general (winter looks stunning!) and something we haven't seen or much rather heard in ages: a phenomenal soundtrack which managed to get me all goosebumpy each time someone sang (I hope that the US' voice actors are as good as our German one's!)
The trailer lets the movie seem full of superimposed humor while the truth looks different: the movie IS as funny and lighthearted as we know and love it from the older movies but still manages to keep up it's rather serious undertone.
Go see it yourself! It's wort it! I'm going to see it second time for sure!
