    can it work like a trident too? making it to not drop the item but spawn the proyectile entity on the ground when you miss or on an enemy when it hits?

      I tried to get the projectile to spawn as a living entity but the problem I ran into was it would not rotate properly based on the direction of the projectile. Though it is possible to spawn a entity at the location but without support for block face it makes it near impossible to set up any kind of rotation even if it was to spawn different entities.
      Other than that you could possibly make a block and run script for the rotation but its not anything close to how tridents works though you may have better control over the rotation that way but you would need to model something block wise which is harder to convert from a entity model due to the size restrictions though it could be feasible giving enough time I guess.

    uhmmm I have a question to ask you, I'm making a mod on the Pokemon theme, I'm trying to make the mob catching function but... there's a problem and I'll explain it in the easiest way to understand, when catching a mob that's low health (I use despawn and some other things), when I release it with Right click on the block (item) and mobs still spawn and tame as usual but...the health will be full again and...I don't want that, I want the mob's health to be the same as when it's low health, I've thought of everything but it doesn't work, please help me.

    Is there a way to make it so when the item is dropped it has the same durability as the item it was thrown from? for example, I'm trying to make a knife that can be thrown but when I pick it back up the durability resets to 100

    when i make my mod im trying to add fangs to my cat but the model isnt working ive exported it from block bench tried every file but whatever i set the built in mob to ot glitches could you help?

      You would need to make a second cube make sure that the texture has room for the fangs, and then set up the cube's UV map. once this is done there is a option to inflate the shape, this will make the shape slightly bigger making sure it does not share the same exact size as the base cube. You may only need a value of something like 0.01 this should be enough to make sure the textures to flicker due to them being on the same axis.
      The important thing is to make sure that your not using space used by any other cubes and that all cubes are assigned the texture. Also make sure that the workspace type is set to java entity or you will run into importing issues.
      Using bedrock or other workspace types will not work with the forge version of MCreator.
      I hope this helps a bit.

    Is there any way to get this working for forge 47.2.20, or is it non-functional with the only option in the mcreator tool being to upload to version 47.2.0?

      It should work on any version as long as the generator is for that Minecraft build so 1.20.1 should work on both 47.2.20 and 47.2.0 if this is not the case for your mod double check your mod settings there will be a box that says "Disable Minecraft Forge version check" this box should be checked by default but if unchecked it will be specifically for the recommended build of forge.

    I searched a lot and didn't find any explanation in exact details

      I don't generally do tutorials for third party plugins or API mainly because it can become outdated. Geckolib plugin is also a third party of a third party API so the chances of it needing high maintained for tutorials is vary high, this is why I have not done any tutorials for it, I also have a lot of other things that could use my attention for community suggestions which have been sitting in limbo for few years now.

      I think there is a way for entities though I am not really sure how.
      I think I saw procedure blocks for projectiles though so it may be possible to do it through script.
