This track combined with the intro cutscene gives me chills!
Welcome to Andromeda.
not only u my friend, not only you!
Don't forget Heleus though, It's good too. Andromeda's own version of the map screen :)
Even after the EA disbands the Bioware Montreal...
Even after they confirm, that there'll be no single-player DLCs...
Even after the fate of the quarian Ark is left to comics and books...
Even after the entire series got put on hold...
*The Trail of Hope does not end. In our hearts, as long as we are alive, it will go on forever.*
A month after Anthem's release and the Trail of Hope seems longer than ever. Stay strong, friends- Mass Effect will come back sooner or later!
And we're back!
When the cruisers headed towards the arks, when the Tempest touched down for the first time...
I want to relieve those moments again.
Defalt Defalt It's one of those sad truths about gaming, once you have experienced something epic for the first time, there is no way to recapture that feeling if you do it again
Not just gaming. Even movies. Interstellar's Docking Scene is another experience I can never relieve again. When the sound systems blasted Hans Zimmer's "No Time For Caution", I was in awe. You can never ever watch it again in IMAX. It pains me that this is the sad truth.
This two moments were equal to when you see Citadel for the first time at the first Mass Effect game.
Scenes like those you simply don't forget.
Yesterday i started a new playthrough on Andromeda after a year since i last played it, and damn if i not missed this theme, the ark at the beginning and Tempest landing brought a tears to my eyes just like first time, god i love this game.

Despite its many flaws i truly love this Game, it doesn't deserved that much hate imo
This just feels like Mass Effect. Especially around the 1 minute mark, when you're reading the opening text.
Reminds me a bit of 'The Fleets Arrive'
has some of the ME 2 Suicide Mission beat
I'm not crying. It's just an omniblade in my eye
I'm not crying, I'm not crying....
Teary eyes*
Ouch
Hearing this over the scene where all the shuttles were going to the arks made my heart swell just like when I saw the SR-2 Normandy take flight for the first time in ME2.
I believe MEA could have been a hit game. Due to backlash that was mostly unnecessary, but some was needed... single player DLC was cut, no more campaign, mission are now starting to break...
I truly do appreciate Mass Effect Andromeda, even through all the times it broke, it still holds a place in my heart. Although Mass Effect 2 is the best in my opinion.
We will probably not get DLC/Campaign Expansions for a long time even if we convince the team to start updating again..
I've started playing MEA again after 2 speed runs and a 1.5-2 year hiatus. Actually am exploring Andromeda instead of speed running it, its more enticing than reviews and the hate it garners.
In the year 2185, humanity lives in a golden era of interstellar travel.
Our discovery of ancient alien ruins on Mars propelled our understanding
of science and technology ahead by thousands of years.
While many now enjoy the newfound freedoms and challenges of
exploration in the Milky Way, others now look to even more distant stars.
For the hundred thousand adventurers embarking on this one-way voyage,
the future begins in...
*ANDROMEDA*
Regardless of your opinion on the game, this song fucking slaps.
Andromeda's version of Normandy Reborn.
I just keep replaying this song and seeing the Tempest touch down for the very first time in front of my eyes.
I have a "normandy reborn" feeling on this song, from ME2
yeah its like tempest reborn
i think the track has some inspiration from it
More like Tempest Arrives.
this is my favorite of the songs of heard so far. reminds me a bit of the original me theme. which is VERY good!
YES FINALLY! I have been wanting this track to be released ever since the trailers, thank you so much!
I've finally found my long lost twin. :D
I downloaded the OST from the official website as soon as it was released, and probably this might be my favourite track in it. Feels the most Mass Effect-y.
wait... can you please link to where you found that soundtrack?
Alex Zinovyev masseffectarchives.com
Alex Zinovyev there should be link on the top right that leads to soundtrack download. FYI it will ask you to log in.
When Ever that one part plays, it makes me feel like what ever I'm doing it just makes it epic.
amazing song and a great game.
Man, It's good to have Mass Effect back!
"We made it."
They really missed an opportunity with this music.
They should have used this to introduce the first mission of the pathfinding team.
Ryder and the team pick up their equipment, the camera pans over all the various guns, weapons and armor being placed in their boxes while drack is all excited. An engineer shuts the boxes to his discomfort. The camera pans over the other tools , mining equipment, the repair equipment, computers, building machines, repair drones, etc. This shows the player that this is not just about fighting and weapons, this is a mission for exploration, a brand new galaxy, new planets, new home to discover.
Amidst the vapor from all the washing and all the machines rumbling and the engineers running around gathering equipment and preparing stuff for departure, the Nomad emerges. Driving to the tempest loading bay in slow motion. A shining new armored vehicle, the camera pans to it's jumpjets, it's hardcore wheels, and it's name. The camera side steps to the pathfinder team, walking side by side, in slow motion , holding their helmets on their sides, to the tempest loading bay. The alien races are also walking side by side with the humans, some are walking ahead, drack is seen lifting the weapons boxes on his shoulder. Seems like he wasn't satisfied with letting an engineer carry it to the ship.
The music reaches it's peak as the tempest rises from a loading elevator to the launching deck, a shining NEW strong vessel of the most advanced technology the milky way. The camera pans in quick successions to it's various features while intermittently closing in on the letters of the tempest. It's engines firing up. Camera pans on the inside, the computers and screens are lighting up , all the different rooms and areas of the ship are lighting up. The technology is cutting edge, the galaxy map is rumbling. zoom in on the display, number of planets being populated : the number is in 10s of thousands and it's not stopping. Camera comes out to the team, ryder stops on his way, looks in awe at the ship and then jogs to catch up with the rest of the team. The team enters and takes positions. The engineers in the ark are preparing for take off. Two lead flight monitoring engineers are sitting inside a glass shielded room. They smile in awe , looking at each other as they raise their hands to touch the shielding glass panel, which is rumbling from the power of the tempest' mass accelerator engine.
Camera pans to the whirring engine core of the tempest as Kallo gives some final updates to the team on the ark. Ryder takes his post as captain. The launch bay doors open up. The tempest fires it's thrusters as some lightweight boxes and paper gets blown away in the corners of the launch bay.
The tempest emerges from the ark into space. The music booms to highest volume. Ryder and the navigators look in awe as the galaxy map booms up to show hundreds of unchartered planets. camera zooms in on the golden world. THe tempest fires and accelerates lightspeed. Camera blacks out and the game title appears on screen.
karankenZ Sounds good but I personally prefer the intro how it is, gotta give you credit for your imagination though.
p.s I don't think they would show the Nomad in the intro since you don't get it until you first go to Eos
Yes the intro they have is fine but they used this theme while introducing the nomad as well. I feel like that intro could have been more awesome
Goosebumps. 0:46 made me feel like the Ark is in front of me
Still gave me goosebump until now
Still listening to this on the daily years later, fuck this shit is good!!! Love Mass Effect!!
Andromeda, a new adventure......... And it was great.
hello ! I am watching the crew-2 dragon taking off while listening to this and telling myself : "I will watch a human land on mars one day and i can't wait for it T_T Space time is coming back ^^ "
Every great moment in our history began with a dream. Each bold leap forward was achieved by those willing to do anything to attain it. We are, all of us, leaving behind families, homes, the very birthplace of our species. Some for discovery, to see the unknown. Others, for a new start. But today, whatever our reasons, we take the first steps toward a new future for humanity. Today, we begin to make our dream, reality.
I'd kill to see a ME prequel detailing the discovery of the prothean ruins on Mars with this as the introduction.
This right here, is some good stuff.
" We made it."
The best track in MEA OST along with Heleus.
Damn, that sounds good. Got the chills. I picture all my adventures in the Nomad and running around looting in my head listening to this.
I can hear Mass Effect theme in it! Instantly most favorite OST!
And thus with the teaser for a new Mass Effect game another trail of hope is started... let's see where it leads!
This quality soundtrack deserved a game with better quality standards.
This is arguably my favorite piece in this soundtrack. it is very well done
This made me cry
This song makes me feel that humanity could be better that we can see the stars and dream of the good together that we can have an enormous greatness of spirit
I love this game and this soundtrack is just amazing!
I've just started my journey and damn am I loving it. Sure the game has flaws but overall it's great experience for a first timer to the franchise ^_^
Perfect!! I love you Mass Effect.
Why didn't they use this for the official trailer? Great track.
Because a soundtrack is almost never used in trailers. It's mostly always music that isn't in the game at all.
yep, commander knows whats up!
This song makes me so happy
I love this track. There is this theme from the lair of the shadow-broker DLC in there that's just fantastic.
SO EPIC, sends chills down the spine and back up
Best track!
Keep up the nice videos. Coming here often.

This game had so many elements to be great just poor management. They should continue on this path and change the writers. The exploration was a good way to go after the original trilogy. Shame.
It really was a step in the right direction. Too bad we're never going to see it fully realized since they're going back to Shepard again.
@@ninethreefivesix that isn’t exactly confirmed.. Liara being in the trailer doesn’t equal Shepard lives.. Liara has aged around 700 with her wrinkles.. that and they teased andromeda in the trailer too hell the concept art shows a silhouette of an alien that literally looks like an angaran from Andromeda.. the other concept art showed (what looked like) a new relay being built and it gave off MEA vibes and Liara was in a recorded message with Alec Ryders memories soo it points to a sequel (I hope) to MEA or it could be ME4 and the only things in the trailer that support ME4 is Liara, dead reaper in the background and Liara picking up a piece of Shepard’s N7 helmet.. honestly I think it’ll be a sequel to MEA connecting both the OG Trilogy and MEA..
is it just me or does this have strong spectre introduction vibes?
It is the beat of the epiano-esque sounds.
Awesome...very good music there
brings back memories of the Normandy and the crew... where are the big booty quarians???
seems the Andromeda soundtrack is going to be more echoey than ME2 and ME3, and those were already quite more echo than ME1. nvm, all the ME soundtracks are echoey
Simply amazing, love it!
That's the opening theme wao its as good as the trillogy's opening theme
Epic! Gives me the chills!
wonderfull vid
AWESOME
The game may have been a slight disappointment but the soundtrack is amazing.
Awesome track
This song defies laws of physics!

If someone asked you what ambition and space pioneering sounded like you'd link them this.
This was the best part of the entire game, in my opinion.
Brilliant
The edition I ordered was supposed to include a free soundtrack, but I never got it :(
So long, reapers and ME3 ending!
Sounds like the movie Oblivion.
Is it me or does this sound similar to Mass Effect 1's introductory tone (plays when Anderson and Udina are having a discussion about Shepard)?
I doubt that's even slightly an accident.
Nice!!!!
Isn't this the same composer that did Invincible's main theme?
no
@@brobama_bin_laden7762 fuckin liar
tempest is new bae
kinda reminds me of the Avengers music
the only mass effect track in the game...
Thank god for spotify i will be playing a shit ton of trilogy music while exploring Andromeda this new music is good but obviously can't come near the trilogy what jack wall sam hulick and clint mansell achieved was perfection best music for me of any film or game i've heard
