Have you heard about MF Ghost ? It may be the sequel you wanted to see. You will not se Takumi as a Pro Racer infortunately but has a Mentor for new gen.

Can’t really do that when all the source material has already been adapted lol but hey MFGhost is supposed to come out next year and that’s the sequel to Initial D so let’s hope it’s good

Little most people know that both Tsuchiya and Bunta are using small-batch experimental GR86 with same turbo engine from GR Yaris and GR Corolla

Tsuchiya isn’t using a GR86 he’s using just the regular 86 you can tell by the tach
No bunta has the gr badge. The other guy has the older 2021 version that's just 86.

This was awesome! Subaru does the same with the BRZ but it's really just to show case "STI Parts" and is really boring compared to the ones with a GR86.
The GR86 was so fast, the driver time traveled and the car changed color from orange to red, and back to orange 😂
