I remember someone pointed out how in his interview with Larry King he only ever answered the questions seriously when they were impromptu questions from Larry, but the ones he had written down and engineered beforehand Eric completely ignored and only answered with jokes.
I saw this man on the streets of New York doing his “legalize ranch” bit as soon as I was released from Rikers Island jail.. and it was an iconic memory for me. I had NO idea he was famous at the time.

There are so many of these random appearances of people in the studio in the Eric Andre Show. And with the way this was moment was cut it really felt similar and like a nod to that.
