    Sagar is really doing so much for us viewers by bringing Vidit to give all these insights as well as the 21 day video series he has been doing. I'm beginning to like Vidit more and more as well from seeing these types of videos. Hopefully Vidit can make the next candidates and challenge for the title someday :)

    The clarity with which vidit explains his choices balancing both practical and objective analysis really reminds me of the gelfand books. Perhaps in the future a collection of his books in that style would be a great idea if not a career as a coach 30 or so years in the future.

    dear Sagar and Vidit ! thank you so much for this golden amount of info! where in blitz i depend on intuition, it's much harder to play classical time control. So this video is just ideal to start learning how to analyse !

      Lockdowns and Military / Police presence...if you're oblivious to it, they are just conditioning our minds for a coming new world order communist rule. They want us to numb our emotions with these new norms, It's not about our safety, but rather a radical change in how we react to an impending "government overhaul". Trust your instincts. The virus is real, but they are exaggerating it and nobody knows if the infected/ death figures are accurate or not as it can easily be manipulated.

    I’m quite surprised that Vidit saw most of the engines recommendations in his analysis. Does this happen frequently in top level games ?
    When I look at my games, I don’t even get one of the engines moves
    Also I’m really shocked that +1 is considered a winning advantage at the top. I can see wins only when I see advantages +3 onwards !
    Just amazing that a human being comes up with moves at depth 5 that engines come up with at 25
    I’m amazed that most of Vidit’s choices have strategic thoughts and not tactical thoughts. I don’t know how to think like him !

    • @abhishekab1
      @abhishekab1 4 роки тому

      Yes, top level players see the best moves most of the time, especially post facto when there is no time pressure. It also depends on the position. There are many positions complicated even for engines.

    • @dominusdone5023
      @dominusdone5023 3 роки тому

      @@abhishekab1 what? There are no positions complicated for engines. They do not have feelings. Its only the drawish positions that engines mess up because they keep playing for a win

    • @abhishekab1
      @abhishekab1 3 роки тому

      @@dominusdone5023 Yes, there are many positions complicated for engines also. I stand by that statement. Them having no feelings has nothing to do with it. It's because chess is a very complex game, and that's why top GM s have engines running for days also sometimes to evaluate certain positions for squeezing even tiny advantages if they happen to play those lines in their next games.

    • @dominusdone5023
      @dominusdone5023 3 роки тому

      @@abhishekab1 what days. Are you using stockfish made in 1980s? It takes a few seconds to do it if you have a good average engine unless you using iphone 1 engine or what shit

    • @abhishekab1
      @abhishekab1 3 роки тому

      @@dominusdone5023 Yes it is true. (I think you totally don't understand how high level Chess preparation is done on complicated positions. Cetainly they don't do 1 min iPhone validation 😂) Maybe you can do some research into how high level GM s prepare novelties. I don't think UA-cam comments section is appropriate forum for this as space is too short. On my other original point also, you can do some research. There is a chess championship for engines called TCEC that happens every year. If you follow that, you ll see that engine games can get extremely complex, and the way one engine deals with a certain position is entirely different from another engine. Check out the Alpha Zero match with stockfish from couple of years back. It has many instructive games where Alpha Zero crushes Stockfish and Stockfish does not realise till many moves later that it is lost. (When I say this I mean it's still showing positive or equal evaluation, even though it's lost, and only after a few moves suddenly changes evaluation).
      Hope this helps 👍
