Omg, seeing her fingers trembling during the outro is so relatable as a pianist. Every note and chord have to be executed perfectly. Any wrong note will be obvious as a solo player, EXPECIALLY to the performer and ESPECIALLY because it is the slow part of the song. Plus, she has made it this far, so making a mistake at this point would be so heart breaking because she would have to start all of it over again, not to mention the adrenaline making it even harder.
Ugh ikr literally, and at 3:45 it looks like she almost hit a C instead of a B which would’ve been absolutely heartbreaking

I appreciate how you didn't stray away from the original and intended essence / composition of this piece. But rather you enhanced it. It's a lovely arrangement, and I believe your skill really shows through in the way you uplifted this piece so much without adding anything extra, or unnecessary. No shame to any arrangements that twist away from the original versions. I'd just like to praise you for how you've added yourself into this peice without taking away from its original state.

In my lifespan of 70 years I have never experienced a piano composition that has affected me more than this one. I have probably listened to it 50 times today. Inspired music is a window to Heaven and a gateway to the soul. My soul has truly been touched by this song.

People really underestimate the difficulty of that intro. It's not difficult in terms of the notes you hit. You really have to play all those notes together perfectly, otherwise, it sounds cluttered and messy. She did amazing.
I don't think people really understand how difficult this is, sounds simple but golden hour isn't an easy song to learn on the piano, this is amazing variation- will hit 1M views in no time!

I really can't describe how talented you are , the way you play makes me speechless. This cover is something which touched my soul very deeply. Not only this cover, all your covers are extremely beautiful . And I also want to play like you one day ,as a 12 year old my fingers are so small that it sometimes causes problems , till now I have only played running up that hill and mystery of love but i really wish that someday I could play all your covers. ☺️

I have listened to so many different versions of this piece by far this version is the best. I enjoyed this so much that I got the sheet music I am 14 and love the piano and am quite good at it. I know that with some practice I can play as beautifully as you. Pianists like you inspire me. Please make a 1-hour loop.

I've watched / listened to other covers but this... This is what I love. Straightttt into my playlist.
I had stopped listening to the song itself because I did not like how the non-chorus parts stick out of the harmony. ( Yes, the kinda "rap" if you know what i mean, and other covers just making piano notes of that is even more annoying ).
But the way your cover actually brings out the parts that made me fall in love with this song and merges it, its so beautiful.

This is an absolutely stunning arrangement, Katherine! Congratulations! This one deserves to go viral like your "Running Up That Hill" did ... may it be the year of RED and GOLD for you! Autumn! My heart was in my throat watching this as I completely understand and could feel the pressure you must have had on yourself while recording it ... it's like a quest for perfection... I could feel how nervous you got around 3:42 ... because you got through all the difficult stuff... ahhhh I know what that's like... your mind is thinking... ok... this could be the one... this could be THE TAKE I can use... So, in case non-pianists didn't understand, here's why the playing was sooooooooooooo impressive.
When she plays, you can see only two hands and it still sounds like three. That's because she is doing an amazing technique in which one hand plays the notes of two. So basically it's like she's doing the right and and left hand together on one hand while doing a third hand part using her other hand. This technique (I forgot the name) is extremely difficult because it's already hard enough to concentrate on playing with both hands in harmony without giving one the part of two, making it twice as difficult. Golden Hour is a song where you already need a lot of coordination with two hand parts, adding another is just on a whole other level.
I know this comment is a little long but I just wanted people who don't play piano to understand how amazing this cover is.
