- Whilst shearing these sheep we leave the fringe and socks on them so they can be trimmed for show season.

It's like shaving a poodle head and legs still left fluffy lol.
Thank you Cammy. ❤️🇦🇺🏴
I love Blacknose Valise Sheep❤❤
What afine four horans .I like this.😢😮😅😊🎉❤
Are the socks left on for protection,? BTW, those horns look like they could be dangerous.
As a show sheep, the trimming on the legs will be more refined/accurate!
What do they do with the black wool? Is it kept separate and left in its natural color? I would imagine it would be beautiful made into a sweater or something else.
Is it considered a prize piece of wool? If not it should be ❤
That is some fiddly work on the head
What breed is this? An odd cut just for it.💜
Edit: Just caught the long video. It's a Valais Longnose.
No a a Swiss Valais black nose sheep.
@@fuzzylop9164 Thanks. I'm watching these sheep channels so I'd like to learn the breeds.
I would have liked this better if you would have given us a good look at the sheep before you started.
Почему овечку не зафиксировать, чтобы она спокойно стояла?! А её заламывают. Какое- то не цивильное отношение к животному!
This is how sheep are shorn. It allows the shearer to go fast, which is safer and less stressful for the animal. They're not going to stand nicely to be shorn.
It's OK. Holding them like this (on their rear) is actually the best way to keep it still and keep it calm. If they leave it standing up they cannot shear it properly and it would increase the chances of cutting the skin. Also, they have hundreds to shear in a short amount of time so they don't have time to give each sheep a 5 or 10 minute haircut. Doing it quickly is important because it causes less stress on the animal, even if it is being tossed on their rump and twisted for 1 minute. 😊 They forget it quickly and get to run free faster.
