Really enjoying your relaxed views of toy fairs. Amazingingly using terminology that I and my mates use whilst going round swap meets like , “travelling museums “. Which one I used a lot whilst describing Mr. Starwars stall, Jim’s stuff was mint and rare, but at a price, I once try to sell him a few bits which he didn’t have , his reply was “ Bit too rich for me Martin”. A great character , much missed , another was Tony James of Comet Minatures who now does mail order now his “Man Cave” shop shut in Lavender hill. Look foreword to more of your excellent videos.
Excellent stuff Martin, thanks for those great comments. Ironically, Andy and I were filming a new video today, a trading card one. The fairs have seen so much change over the years.its incredible. Jim always seemed like an exhibitor rather than a seller! More to come👍🙂
