No skunkin’. I’m liking the new net, easier to handle them. 4 days straight is hard core, I was out today as well on the big creek, fishing in soaking rain, managed to go 4/9. Time to get some rest, Bill. You deserve it.
What an awesome video! There were some really beautiful Steelheads, and even that perch was really colored up! Glad you got out with Rob, it's been awhile since last time. Too bad he got skunked and frustrated. Just wanted to say hello, and great work! Take care of those cramps in your legs, drink more water after and during fishing, that's how I avoid leg cramps. Ok, good luck and tight lines! See you out there one of these days!
4 days in a row is awesome my back and shoulders can't do that anymore. Also I have an hour plus drive to our rivers. Last time I did 3 days in a row I almost fell asleep at the wheel heading home. Hope ur shoulders healing good.
Good to see fish are still running w the low flows. I was up at the salmon river in pulaski this past week, no water, guys shoulder to shoulder but tons of fish and everyone was hooking up
It's crazy out low this tribs are we need about a months worth of rain to get these back to normal for this time of year. Good job keep the skunkin off and getting into a few nice fish. Congrats to Rob on a nice buck also!

My sons and I cased those same areas you were at a few days earlier on the big trib (on Sat, beautiful day, surprisingly not many guys down there)...water was so low and clear we were only getting hits on 4-5 lb test. We couldn't shake the skunk...the few we hooked broke us off on the light-weight line. I hate using anything under 6 but sometimes it's the only way to hook em. Went with them this same time last year (just before Vet's Day), hooked dozens, landed 75-80% of what we hooked. This year just getting a bite seems out of the normal. I'll wait on the tribs until mid December.
We may see some more rain the next couple weeks from what I've seen in the weather forecasts...the temps are going to stay way above normal into the end of November.
Bill you guys getting any rain? I seen the cat was like frog water. All the mile creeks, elk, walnut everything here in PA is terrible. Like fishing in a cabelas pond ive only been archery hunting.

we fished the Oak Saturday - was a good run of fresh clear fin chrome steelhead down lower
