looked a fun day out Mali and you certainly bagged a nice collection of images. Always love the music you choose to accompany each vlog as it has a natural attachment to the type of episode you are releasing
Thank you very much, yea the music is very important to me, a big part of my videos. Sadly dont get chance or time to write as much as I'd like anymore.
Wow wow wow, those split tone images were superb Mali. Thanks for bringing back some great memories of our little jaunt into the woods. Loved every photo bud and your woodland is right up there with the big boys 👍🍺
The big boys of us, 6 is the magic number hehe. This comment really means alot, all joking aside. I was nervous about it because of how talented you lot are, thanks so much Dazzler, Sithee Thursday 😍👍
Nice one Mali, I think you stole the show there! what's the point in looking for other silver birch tree's when you know of this place, you all seemed to have had a good day so well done! Your pastel type pictures looked great on my monitor. Thank You.
What is it with you and Darren and your falling over?!!! :) What a location, those misty conditions looked just perfect, I must get back there before it's too late for some autumn colours! Lovely images Mali, it was great to see you all out together! Sam.
I'd love to be able to get there right now! Thanks so much for watching, very appreciated and I hope we can get together some time in the near future, stay safe.
Wonderful work my friend... Great to finally see the shenanigans that occured there that day, great to also see all of you in a real get together .. and as for the mages ... WOWOZERs !!!
So beautiful video my friend, amazing nature! I am also a photographer, beautiful place to photo with this fog in forest! 👍🤗🇭🇷 liked and subs on your channel
Well you had me with a silly grin on my face the whole way through, absolutely loved it. I thought “catapult” about five seconds before you said it, my snaps don’t do the place justice, but I’m going back soon. ‘Til next time stay safe
Have a great shoot when you go back, I wish I could right away. This was filmed 2 months ago and cant get back for awhile. Thanks for all your kind words and continued watching, It really means alot Malcolm
I've watched it twice, I'm probably going in again later! Brilliant mate, great memories of a fun filled day! So pleased you had a great time, although I never doubted it for a minute. Johnson's hats 😂. Some corking images here too - loving the graded mono at 20:31 & 21:05, eery shots! And you got the heather in too! Brilliant mate and can't wait until we do it all again!
From you Mr, Mr Fen himself this means alot! I dont know why, and i don't normally get nervous but I was worried what you guys would think. Thank you very much spud, sithee thursday neet!
You and the gang will ever forget some fantastic memories mali. And yet again what a epic vlog and your photography pictures are outstanding. #keepsafe 🍺🥃🍺🥃
Birch trees aren't native to Australia though they have been planted in gardens. Would be good to have them in a natural setting. Paperbark trees have light coloured bark that would photograph similarly. I will need to experiment a bit and see what I can get. Nice images you got Mali.
Can’t wait for Covid to be over so I can travel to the UK to go on one of your tours. You seem to have so much fun and then produce the most amazing images Mali. 👍😎
Thank you very much Kevin, this was a lucky window when restriction got lifted a bit. Im around 2 months behind on my vlogs because I'm always out making them lol. BUT not now. so hopefully we can all get out proper soon.
Your photo's of birch always remind me of Russian paintings of their massive birch forests (Google it). It is precisely that translucent quality that makes it stand out. Is the 'double exposure' an inbuilt option on your Nikon, I don't have it on my Sony, so I'll have to have a go at it in post. Absolutely stunning images....how much of it is lightroom/photoshop magic?
Thanks so much Iain. Yes the double exposure is a setting in the backend of the Nikon D750. To be fair in answer to the lightroom photoshop edits, I didn't do a great deal, the light and atmosphere on the day was wonderful.
I had completely forgotten that I had not seen your trip to the Fens... mind, when the opening sequence went up I thought I might have been watching a semi porn movie with all that grunting n groaing, lol. Aw ever you are as mad a ahtter and your excitement for thre place was well evident... which showed thorugh in your images too. Can't quite believe it was nearly 22 mins long - it whizzed by. Atb Al
I’m bonkers and the huffing and puffing they guys will remember by afar being stuck in that bog 😂 but saying it wizzed by, well that means a lot. I couldn’t leave some of it on the cutting room floor. Thank you very much Alan.
A wonderful masterclass in the fenns Mali, ❤️👍

Big thanks, take care, stay safe Paul… 👍
You have to smile. Most woodland photographers want separation. You want not just chaos but multi exposed chaos !!! Chuffin wonderful
