MARIAN DELYTH IN CONVERSATION WITH EMYR YOUNG.

Marian Delyth has worked as a freelance photographer and designer from her studio in Blaenplwyf since 1982. She studied graphic design at Newport College of Art where she also took an active interest in photography - sitting in on guest talks arranged by David Hurn for Documentary Photography students. Marian was one of the small but very active group of photographers whose efforts led to the formation of the original Ffotogallery in Cardiff.
After college, she worked in an advertising studio before returning to teach in Coleg Ceredigion. Her work can be seen in numerous publications and she has won numerous awards for her work. In 2000 photography became a priority and her time is shared between photographic commissions, developing personal projects, conducting workshops and occasional teaching.
