According to Quesada, Italy didn't still showed the new attack schemes they wanted to apply for the 6N, so the opponents wasn't capable to studying it.
Let's see what they bring to the next 6N. They was pretty impressive last year in attack.

To be more accurate, he said Italy didn't manage to show the new attacks schemes. It's not like they hid them on purpose

@beniaminorocchi True. Like all the new procsss they have to be trained often to bring them "naturally" on the field.

Its great seeing Italy succeed again could see them winning 2 games this 6N (maybe even 3 games depending on which england and Scotland teams decide to show up on the day)

Would love to see it but don’t think they’ll beat England as they seem to have more of a mental hangup than against the other four teams. They’ve hugely improved but I feel that belief still hampers them
I’m going to our game in Rome on the final weekend and can’t wait!

@LarryLoudini that's a good point about mentality, Scotland have the same thing when it comes to those "big teams". I'm just glad both Scotland and Italy are competitive and no longer fighting over wooden spoons lol.

There's only 2 teams in the world that have never lost to Italy, and England is one of them. I can't see it happening.

I love New Zealanders and I love their rugby team. They are our fiercest rivals, our greatest nemesis and somehow, we still have a brotherly love for them.
When the Boks fall out of a World Cup, myself and millions of other Saffas cheer for the All Blacks and I know that a lot of Kiwis do the same as well.
But for the love of God, their arrogance surrounding Italy has to stop.
Italy finished fourth in the Six Nations and came very very close to a second place finish. They aren't minnows anymore.
I hate this rugby narrative of "we were awful" (like a lot of us Bok fans did in the last month) instead of giving credit where due.
If you're looking bad on the pitch, that is because you are pressured to look bad. It is because the opposition are doing their job.
Let's give credit to a team that played out of their skins.

Italy have now played one of the youngest team in international rugby for a few years and it seems like they are about to come of age. This being said they are still quite inconsistent and can have a very good game as well as very poor performances. They also tend to read too much into some results. For instance the draw against France last year was a good result but if you take into account that France played without their starting second row, half backs and more than half the game a man down... it's a little less impressive. I understand that morale is important and you've got to celebrate whatever good thing you get. But sometimes it feels almost like denial, and to really come of age, this brilliant italian generation needs to look at the harsh truth. They're not far off, but at the moment, it would still be amazing if they won more than one game in the 6 nations.

We have to be honest with ourselves. That wasn't a draw, that was a victory of Italy that refree didn't acinowledged to them (refree not repeating that kick due French running at the kicker, not allowed by rules).
So, technically Italy won that game, not drawed it.

@clement, you said the truth... The proof of what you say is our lack of player depth, it's one of the many reasons why we would never have such consistency in the long term.

While the All Blacks were deserved winners against Italy, the officiating left a lot to be desired. I agree with Scott Barrett's yellow card for the croc roll, but where’s the consistency? Scott Cummings saw red for the same offence just two weeks ago. Similarly, the second All Blacks try should never have happened-it was clear even from the second tier that Page-Relo's kick bounced infield and then off Telea's knee, meaning it should have been Italy's line-out. Nika Amashukeli’s involvement here raises eyebrows too, given his track record (the Faiva fiasco in Dublin).
And in the second half, Brousset’s handling of Tuipulotu's head-on-head tackle on Negri was baffling. Overruling Trainini to avoid even a yellow card is questionable, especially with today's standards. Meanwhile, the no-arms tackle by Aumua on Brex was somehow deemed a "good tackle," but Cannone was punished under the same offence for much less earlier-again, no consistency.
To top it off, the penultimate ABs try came after Brousset appeared ready to penalise the All Blacks for not driving straight but instead let play continue, leading to the score.
This isn’t about bias; the All Blacks were worthy winners. But the lack of consistency and the low standard of officiating and TMOing in general is becoming a real concern for World Rugby.

As an Italian I have to remember what the reality is in Italy... Rugby is still a not very popular sport, and if we really want to achieve the turning point this young team will have the task of being the national team stronger than we have ever had, so as to win and convince. Only by enlarging the foundations of this sport can there be real change.
Simply put, as long as we lack players, we will never gain long-term consistency.
    W il rugby e Forza Italia 🇮🇹🤌

This is what makes the growth of the Italian national team all the more impressive. It seems like the younger national sides, the Benetton pro side, and the national team are working together quite well to produce a competitive national side against nations with deeper rugby traditions. Bravo!
