The former because it's the Original Sequel Trilogy that avoids ALL the issues I have with TDST and the ladder because it has a lot of similarities to TDST while ALSO avoiding all the issues I have with TDST. Case in point, Adora is basically Finn if they actually followed up on the ideas of following a former minion of evil turned hero and one that has superpowers. Also, unlike Rey, Adora has to actually TRAIN with her powers instead of being an instant expert at everything she does. I love this show it's really good. Also, in regards to TTT there are rumors that there will be an adaptation for TTT in the future and if successful might end up leading to Disney decanonizing TDST via World Between Worlds. But really I'm just here to comment about two stories I love and show TDST how it's done. :D

@@Coffeetime110 tbh after rewatching the series i think Grogu was the first to touch his face because I don’t think he took off his helmet infront if Xi’an
Mando taking off his helmet in the presence of people he previously accused of not being Mandalorian BECAUSE they casually reveal their faces without concern, and in front of a Jedi whom Mandalorians have had a rivalry with, all for the sake of seeing Grogu with his own eyes? Talk about evolution.
Not specifically seeing Grogu with his own eyes, but allowing Grogu to see his face. THAT was what was important. We all have masks we hide our true selves behind, because we don't want to be hurt. But we will go through fire and hell for the ones we care about. Those are the ones whom we allow to see the person we truly are.
Except for Grogu and Luke, other only saw back of his head. So no they did not see their faces After Grogu left, I am sure they gave time to let Mandalorian put his helmet back on as a sign of respect. Just like how Mayfeld told him that he never saw his face.
It was a beautiful moment. The only times Mando took off his helmet were when it was for Grogu. The last two episodes were priceless. True love. He gave up his creed to do anything to save Grogu.

Mind the age gap between Grogu and Din. Grogu now is already older than Din, and we don't know how long the training will be. But maybe Grogu will return to an old Din as a "teenager", who then peacefully passes away in his arms or something like that? There is no chance in hell that Grogu wouldn't want to see his father again! I think that he will actively search for Din, since Din has no idea (yet), where Luke and Grogu went. And it will have to happen before Ben/Kylo destroys the Academy in 28 ABY.
