I can’t understand barely anything of what Acuña says, but he still manages to be my favorite
His Venezuelan Spanish has a very Dominican accent spice to it since he's surrounded by Dominicans in the MLB. They tend to speak faster and shorten the end of the words so even if you're a native Spanish speaker from another country, you may miss a few words here and there. If Spanish is your second language then just good luck lol

Man, it’s great to see the MLB celebrate young Latin players. I appreciate the opportunity to understand them in their native language when they work to speak English daily. A reminder of the barriers they overcome and how the MLB brings diverse cultures together. Beautiful. BRAVOS!
I’m a Red Sox fan... a New Englander now living in Indiana. And I flip over from the Sox broadcast to watch these Braves. I cannot find words to describe what it’s like to watch Acuña play. It’s like... graceful electricity

As a Braves fan who was too young to watch the 90’s Braves, I’ve never been more excited about one of our teams. This team has some of the most talented young players I’ve ever seen, and has every single intangible you want in a team.
Now we just need a better bullpen and we’re set

Bullpen better now. If we don't advance to at least the NLCS I would consider it a disappointment. Expecting to run into the Dodgers in the NLCS.

He 100% Venezuelan but yea I think cause he was Around a lot of Dominicans during training and all that so he caught up on the Accent

Americans need to learn spanish.
In Ozzie's country, it is pretty common to speak 4 languages, so he's grown up speaking English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento. You will find most players from Curacao speak these 4 languages.
