I had the same problem, and I fixed. I noticed that the left charge connector of the base was lower than the right. In my case I welded the smaller side to incrase the contact, and it worked!
I saved this model before it was thrown away. I have completely repaired it, the only problem is that I cannot get to his station when finish. He drives too far on docking station and keeps going up and back again. If I push him down when driving upwards on station, there is no problem. Does anyone know the solution for this?😅
