- Low level fighters in the Sidewinder (including a privately owned F-5 in Star Wars Canyon) and outside of Fallon. Vandy 1 makes an appearance along with Block III Rhinos and Navy Vipers from Fallon doing low level work.

Yeah, the canyon was money in the bank. Sidewinder is still open, the rest of the route doesn’t have the altitude restriction the canyon currently has. 99% of the passes in my videos are from Death Valley/Sequoia

@@DarrenEdwardsAviation the hikes aren’t terribly lengthy but they are time consuming due to the steepness at some of the spots and the remoteness of one of them. The first two passes in this video are a spot roughly an hour and a half from from the nearest house. If you plan on heading out this way hit me up on insta and I can help you sort out a reference guide

Are jets now flying in Rainbow Canyon? I thought they stopped in 2019. I'm familiar with Bravo 20 on Carson Sink. Were you in this area? Great video!
Thanks! Civilian jets are able to fly through the canyon on the weekends most of the time. Military traffic is still restricted to 1,000 agl over the canyon only but the rest of the route is open. The last video is from Fairview looking over Bravo 17. I’ll have to check out around 20!
Bravo 20 on Carson Sink use to be used for bombing in the 80's. I haven't seen anything flying in that area any more. Good luck

It’s all Sidewinder. Some is along the Kern and the others are out in the desert t different points on the route

Hello do you know if are low flyings opns in Death Valley
They still fly in Death Valley regularly. Star Wars Canyon is still limited to 1,000 feet above the rim of the canyon for military traffic
