I've been driving my Candy for more than 4 months now and has been very satisfied so far. The features are really great. I'm using it as my daily drive and almost weekly long trip from Baguio to the lowlands because why not? no 'gas' cost at all. The cruise control is a big help. The spirited driving as well gives some satisfaction how these big cars are being surprised they are being overtaken going up the mountain 🤣
The DFSK Candy used to be a hidden gem. But not anymore! Thanks Kyle for this amazing review! And just to add, the two speaker sound system is better than its counterparts!
From what I’ve heard, the 2024 DFSK Candy Mini EV offers a choice between a purplish-pink interior and a light blue interior. It’s also now fitted with a Type-2 charging port, which is standard here in the Philippines, and the price is 658K.
I saw one in Baguio and it looks really cool. I was surprised to see it going up Bakakeng road easily ( sa mga nakaka-alam gaano katarik yung Bakakeng road)
Was waiting for this review, thank you Kyle! was in Trinoma yesterday (Sep. 6,2024) saw the launch, was interested in this unit (Candy)One question is: Is the interior purple stock in all body colors? If so at least it's better than pink interior. Good job and great review 😁👍👍
The latest batch of stocks now have the blue-ish gray interior. You can see it in the Mint Green and Blue variant displayed in Trinoma. The badge at the back is different too!
The Wuling Macaron is 10cm shorter, has 25mm less ground clearance, 10KW (13hp) less power, 4KWh smaller battery with 50km less range, charges with 1.4KW instead 3.3JW of the DFSK, has less functionality (no cruise control, no tpms..) but costs 25,000 Peso more.
Hi, Kyle! What would you suggest for a first time car buyer? I prefer crossover, but which one? There’s a lot to choose 😅 lately I keep on watching Chinese brands, like Changan, Cherry, Gac, Geely etc. and they are all nice and the interior of those are really good but the question is, tatagal kaya? You think it is worth it? But if these Chinese brands are not worth it, what brand would you suggest ranging 1.5M less or a little higher, thank you so much, I hope I can get a tips and suggestions from you, anyways I always watch your car reviews 😊❤
@@KyleLiongCars sa part palang na masyadong maliit hindi na "good alternative" e + sa price na 658k. Mas pipiliin kona ang Spresso AGS na 660k ang halaga. Hindi ko naman binabash ang EV, dismayado oo.
Its an EV. No gas. Probably charge free kung naka solar ka. Literally free forevs No oil change So. Most probably your saving will be 70k-100k per year just by gas and pms Not mentioning you helped giving out carbon footprints Disclaimer. Not candy owner.
Kaya mas pipiliin ko parin yung Spresso or Wigo. This is a dexent car indeed.. Its just DSFK is still starting and not stablished yet..
New brand, new options :)
sad that the front passenger had to scootch over to get out of the frame and had to wear his seatbelt wrong
Dapat sinama nalang sa frame hahahaha
So out of the whole video, that’s what you decided to comment on? 🙄🙄🙄
Can you adjust its steering column? Tilt?
Nope
Hope pricing is lesser so it can compete with the upcoming BYD Seagull😊
This is about 2/3 the price of the Seagull haha
I saw it lately at trinoma event price start at 650 but the lowest to 600k
My biggest concern is hitting the gear shifter with my knee
I doubt you will haha
Is this the beginning of the mini ev wars in the ph?

I still stand by the Geelys :) Very happy with mine, and the brand has been tested and proven na rin here in the past few years

That's the point though. Good alternative kaysa mag Spresso or Wigo :D
