Black tax should be limited because as you earn more abroad your bill or expenses are more as well. Another aspect is as a new immigrant you’re still struggling to settle down while some of the people taxing you live in their own homes in Africa and are just calling because they need free money. Learn to say no and stop making your immediate family suffer because you are busy taking on responsibilities of others
Also , plan your family . For example, this is not Nigeria!! Don’t have 4, 5, 6 plus kids here. Those of you who want to birth a soccer team . The west is not meant for anything more than 2 kids. There’s no maid, cook or driver here unless you are a millionaire. Birth what you can afford and have time for. No one helps with kids here unless you pay.
Onyi baby (first thing that popped in my head when i saw your video)😅. Im yet to watch this video but commenting right now for the algorothim. Will watch after my class 👌
I used to spend a lot on some family members back home till l realized that am being used, when l tell them to move to other countries 😢the reply was “ they are not ready to suffer” that word broke my hear, l started imagining on what l go through to get that money they are enjoying. Guess what am now super super stingy on my money like 4years now😂
Thank you so much for always giving valuable content ❤, please can you make a video on how to start with credit card and build credit score? For someone that knows nothing about it and is planning to come to Canada next year. Thank you so much. ❤
Omg! This topic eh! Hmmm I can’t shout ! Our people really need to do more research . But if you tell them, they see you as the enemy . Great video from you guys !
Well said guys! I believe a lot of immigrants especially our Naija peeps set themselves up for being 'Home poor'. I know quite a number of persons that came in and within a year they have over 500k mortgage, end up taking 2 jobs that deprived them of sleeping in the house.
Love how realistic this video is 👏🏼👏🏼. Unfortunately, for a lot of people coming from developing countries like ours (Nigeria), they are still sunk in the classism culture from back home that once they get here, the urge to impress is at all time high. I hope newcomers learn a lot from this, cos there are no truer words 😮💨. I’ve learnt some financial nuggets from this🙌🏽.., Welldone babes 👏🏼.
Great video thank you ladies👏. So I've heard the 30% rule a lot but it is confusing to me. Why is the bank giving you $1000 if they don't want you to spend more than $300? I have also seen videos where the advice is to spend as much as you need but payback the full balance twice a month. Not max it out but spend like 70%-80% to show the bank that you actually need and use the credit line extended. That way your credit line keeps getting extended. What is your take on this?
I think they just didn’t do a good job explaining it. You’re right that spending almost to the max on a card repeatedly AND PAYING IT UP can actually alert the system that you could use a credit increase. However when they’re talking about not overutilizing, it’s two sides of the same coin. If you have your cards all heavily utilized and not paying it off or paying down significantly every payment cycle, it could give the impression that you’re either not earning enough to pay off those bills or you’re just bad with managing your bills. That over utilization could then be seen as an added risk.
Hello onyeka nice videos Please speaking about minimum wage jobs so am a Nigerian intending to study healthcare administration in Ontario college. Please I would like to know the job demand for the course. And if its a right program to start with?
Can someone school and work at the same time, how does it works... coming as a PR are there ways to get funds to attend a course like Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering etc?
One should control their money wisely (buy what you need not what you want at first). When one enter a certain income revenue range then you can buy what you want. At the same time, only use a credit card to build a very good credit history by paying what is owed immediately after using a credit card. The less Credit cards used at a time, the better one's credit card history will be in the long run. Therefore, one's money will treat one well in the long run. Good investment(s) (including Savings) are also the key to financial security in the long run. Investments in good businesses that will yield one a continuous financial profit in the long run. Spend wisely and one will be financial secured in the long run. Peace and God bless...
Pls just a quick question. I got a 4 years study permit for degree program but Can I change my bachelor’s degree to a diploma and still get pgwp after studying for just 2 years while i have 4 years study visa.

So true. Also cost of activities can add up with many kids- dance class, beisball team, piano lesson, etc.

..good job
Thanks!
Nice one, girls.
Well done.
Borrow / lend?**
Thanks!!!
Thanks to both of you
❤️❤️😘
Nice education on the topics. What about having the credit card and not using.
You won’t build your credit that way. The bank wants to see that you’re able to borrow and payback.
@@OnyekaAsamaka okay thanks.
