KNOWN PROBLEMS:
-animals sometimes can glitch into blocks and clog the farm. just replace the glass with a solid block and they should just suffocate
-animals can sometimes glitch into the 2 doors on the farm so I would just remove the doors and enter through the top
-an update proposal planned to change how some of the minion spawning works. for now this farm is fine but it may get a tad slower in the near future

INFO: They changed how water flow/floating works as well as fences, so instead of fences use SLAPS.
Might as well do the Chicken Farm setup (with SLAPS) for all farm animals (pig/cow/rabbit/etc)

You can replace the fences with hoppers for the chicken farm, they'll still swim up but none of the drops will get stuck on the fences.

this farm doesnt work anymore. you have to move the back 3 signs down by one block, then put water source blocks where the sign used to be.
its kind of like the chicken farm design, except the fence posts are signs, and the signs above are source water blocks.

5:45 you can replace the fences with slabs. It gives the same effect and the hoppers suck the item through the slab
GenghisDingus does the farm work for you? My chicken just sit in the air creates by the slabs
@@bobhirshfield3756 It doesn't work for slimes, magama cubes, and chickens as they are too small to float up. Rabbits work fine though.

Waterflow on 1 block tall entities seems to be bugged/changed. They no longer jump into the upper layer of water.

You could use slab instead of fence I guess, cause even if it drops onto slab hopper can still pick it. (I didn't play on hypixel so I don't actuallt know if it would work or not )

if you put a slab instead of a fence it still works with chickens and the items wont get blocked because hoppers can pick up items through a slab
For all those wondering abt the new update, I put a a row of slabs instead of signs at the back and it seems to be working pretty fine
Thanks for that. Some pigs still seem to find a place on the slabs but at they still seem to drown. Only issue is that when that happens, the pigs spawning in get pushed back, this gets fixed with Stone walls (I assume fences too)

Fantastic video, I got a super compactor in my pig minions so if I am offline I can still get some enchanted pork. Very nice design! :)
You can also build a dropper for mobs (except chickens, ghasts, slimes and magma cubes) and use your cobblestone minion water flow clock to double their speed too!
What about enderman? I wanna farm those bois as well ._.

The problem here is that you don't make any progress in the compilation 🤔
When you are offline the minions for some reason kill the mobs. So you still make progress but only when you are offline
@@dannvk3026 makes sence because when you are not on your island than no chunks are loaded and then the system calculates how much the minions should have killed 🤔 as you need more items to craft than to unlock it all makes sense in the end

I built both of these farms and I had a little problem with it since rabbits and sometimes pigs etc wouldn't go up the water and drown properly, I did the change as with the chicken minion edit but with stone slabs instead of fences, (Just like an AFK pool) and it works wonders, and even if an item were to land on the slabs the hoppers below would pick them up.
As for the Ghast chamber? It works wonders, later on this weekend I'm gonna build the slime/magma chambers as well then I'm gonna redesign my island again and make it into a proper island with all my farms, etc in order.
(It is gonna be great to get rid of that falling tower, it's an eyesore sometimes..)

For all non-1 block mobs, you'll find that you can't use the old design either. I found a way to fix that by moving the water pool 1 block lower, so the mobs don't have to swim at all. You will have to adjust signs so that the pool doesn't flow out, but it works
if you use half blocks instead of fences you get evrything they drop becouse hoppers can collect from half blocks and chickens will stil drwon there

With the chicken farm u should use slabs instead of fences, since items go trough slabs and dont stay stuck on them, and they still floath up and die

Update: the slime firm needs to be 2 wider and the wall needs to be 5 higher as the slimes will spawn in the walls or on top of the walls. DO NOT build it in its current state!
