Fantastic! I was looking for two days for info about my tractor to troubleshoot the fuel gage and I've got all the info I need from you. In my case, the indicator was defective. Thank you very much!
I appreciate so much the thought and training that you have put into this basic instruction to those who have a basic understanding of how to use a multimeter in ohm's law we thank you and appreciate it thank you for this precious video God bless you all be safe
Yes, I changed my fual sending unit and turned on the key, and it said 3/4 tank. I thought it was working, but when I turned off the key, it went to full tank. Stade there.
Hi and thanks for the video. I've replaced my fuel sending unit 3 different times thinking that it was the problem but my digital fuel gauge is still malfunctioning. The digital fuel gauge reads inaccurately. When I fill up it will show its full but the box will drop within five miles and at half its showing I've driven 100 miles. My manual says I'm supposed to get up to 27 city and 33 hwy. What could my problem be? PLEASE HELP!
Hey thanks for the question. This sounds a lot like an automotive gauge you are using. Most marine fuel senders won't work with those. Can you confirm what brand of gauge and sender you are using?
my problem is that the needle used to go to its position slowly and goes back slowly. now it instanly jumps to that position and when i turn off the ignition switch it instanly goes back.
I wish everybody made steady, clear, concise videos like this. thank you so much. very helpful.

I guess you were talking old school, most gas gages today go through a circuit board behind the interment cluster
