Hi, do u live in a four season climate? How does it drain/hold up to weather? Is it necessary to add a slight incline to slope the water away from the home? Thank you.
The recommended concrete mix ratio is 1:2:3.Initially I had tried to go for this ratio but it doesn't fit in this as ratio :3 for 10mm gravel is too much. Then I tried ratio 1:2:2 which worked out okay.
@@simplepaving6012 For us novices ...what exactly is gravel size and water to concrete ratio. Sorry...but I have no idea! Lol....Looks great by the way!
@@davemathewisidro7871 Easier to use bags of ready mix concrete (Quikrete for example), they already have cement, sand, and gravel mixed together. Then just at water per instructions on the bag.
If you do, you would have to wait, perhaps days, before removing the mold. The concrete would be too loose at the bottom until the water has a chance to seep down.

How long do you have to wait before removing the mould?
Roughly 3-5 minutes depending on cement mix.
Time varies
Where can I find mounding like these?
Amazon
What concrete mix are you using?
Where can I get a mold like that to buy
Is that gravel with mud that laid first before cement?
Может просто надо делать пожиже раствор?
This looks great! Can this be done over existing paving flags or do I need to remove?

What type of cement did you use?
1.5 gallon water to 80 lbs concrete
It looks great, but it just seems like a lot of work and very slow process.
I make them on table , far quicker and then lay down
Did you do them on top of existing cement?
Yes it's on existing concrete floor.
