This is so calming and sad, I don't know if I wanna cry or just think back to all the great moments in this show.

Cry, definitely cry 😭😭 I didn't want the show to end, but it's happy ending made up for it, it was so many great moments in TLOK... I know it's not happening, but if a season 5 would be made, I'd be extremely happy. Their expanding on TLOK with the comics at least, so I'm happy about that... I hope we continue to get more in the future and that they make as many comics of TLOK as there was ATLA comics

I can imagine this being the background music for when Katara passes in her sleep and finally gets to be with Aang again. It's something that has this melancholy feel to it, yet it's peaceful and comforting undertones are like a reminder that the end doesn't always have to stay sad because sometimes it means the beginning of something even greater. 💙🧡

I genuinely like aspects of the show but I personally felt divisive about it and it is in no way connected to atla as a show but merely purely based on korra as a show and that's just my personal opinion based on some things which idk if you personally would feel interested in having elaborated. If you like it in entirety that's completely understandable, I don't even dislike it myself I just feel divisive about it in general.

I remember hearing this during the series finale of LoK
I was sad after hearing it, thinking this would be the end of the Avatar universe, at least for a very long time....
I come back today now hearing the news of Bryke taking on the role of chief creative officers for Avatar Studios and I cannot be anymore excited! Whatever movies and shows come from this, I know that the Avatar universe is saved because it is in their hands again

I have a theory if you watched lok you should remember an episode where korra used the avatar state to win a race against ikki jinora and meelo and if you watched atla you should know that the past avatars can see through the avatar state so i think korra used the avatar state so that aang could play with his grandchildren for the first and last time
I know it's corny to say, but the ATLA series changed my life. I can relate to Zuko's character arc super well. I am in a very similar situation as him. He taught me that it is okay to do what you want with your life, and to not just do things for the sake of "honor." My parents are divorced, and my dad I don't have that very deep of a relationship with. He is very religious and expects me to go to a certain college, and make all of these very specific and impactful life choices that frankly I don't want to do and I'm not comfortable doing them at almost 18 years old. I don't know how he'll react when I come clean about how I feel, or where I actually want to go to college, and it terrifies me. With the mentality that my religion instills into people, I don't know if he'll ever fully understand and things between us won't be the same. He literally told me yesterday that if I go to the school I want to go to he will barely pay for it, but if I go to the school he wants me to go to he can fully pay for it. It's a lot to take in, ands eventually break the news. I'll edit this comment and give you an update if anybody is interested to see how stuff turns out. But to anybody who is reading please make decisions for yourself, and no one else. You are the author of your own life story. Nobody else is.
Update: Well here I am! A couple weeks into college. I can honestly say despite the anxiety and fear of big change, I am so glad I made the right choice for myself. Again, you can be brave. You can face the fears, and I promise you when you face them and knock them down it feels like you can do anything, it's quite amazing honestly. I haven't told my Dad everything, but I have already felt myself growing into a stronger and better version of myself. And you can too

I LOVE that use of the "Avatar's Love" theme at 3:38! That's a super clever way for Bryke to subtly imply that the connection between Korra and Asami is (or will become) romantic

Its asami and korra, in the spirit world, sitting next to each other on top of a cliff.
Under a tree, staring at the wonderful view of the spirit world. Rethinking all the things they've done. All the things they accomplished. All of the things they did and built together.
Theyre hair is grey and face is wrinkled. Korra still have her crooked grin,and asami is smiling softly. Stroking korra's hand with her own.
Before hugging each other lovingly, looking at each others eyes as asami touched the bethrodal necklace on her neck. And korra stroking the ring on Asami's finger.
Then out of nowhere, someone called them out.
"Mom."

It amazes me to think of how many people this type of soundtracks save and protect from themselves. And to think of how unaware the composers are of this reality. Their creations save so many of us, each with our personal complex story, each facing a different problem, yet they ignore it. Thank you. Just... Thank you for saving my life tonight and making me love it a little bit more.

This show was one of my favourites. It was so sad, but great at the same time. Fun fact: both atla and tlok ended with the word 'perfect '. I love this slowed version very much. Keep up the good efforts!!

I don’t know how many times I’ve cried on this theme...
It's peaceful and fill with love, also pain just listening to this with my eyes closed while tears flowing. Unlocked some old memories I've got some regrets about life but this makes me think about those mistakes fully thank you.
I cried myself to sleep because of this, best feeling I have had for a long time atla and lok always have a special place in my heart
