I remember seeing this the first year you uploaded it. It has become a tradition for me to view it, even now when I decided to enlist I spend every remembrance day watching this and reminding myself of the history and sacrifices so many before me have made. I am proud to wear the uniform, fly our flag, and to be Canadian.

This past summer my wife and I visited Juno Beach. To stand on the same place that so many brave soldiers fought and died on was a very emotional experience for me. The Juno Beach Centre is staffed by young Canadians who are the same ages as the soldiers that stormed the beach on June 6,1944. They were so young, it just tears at you heart and soul. We later went to one of the Canadian cemeteries where many of the fallen rest. I don't have the words to describe how that felt, I broke down in tears at one point after looking at so many names on the headstones. It was a beautiful place; it was quiet with gentle birdsong amongst the trees and flowers. We owe a debt that can never be repaid.
I’ve been to those places and I was greatly impacted by my experiences there - the sense of grief and gratitude is overwhelming.
This is so heart touching, I honour those who sacrificed their lives just so I could live today, I am proud to be Canadian🇨🇦

My father spent some time in the Canadian Navy, and I had a short stint of service with the Canadian Army. I have the upmost respect for those who have served, both the fallen and the living, and those that continue to serve. My grandpa my moms dad was in the Vietnam war he survived barely and hers wife my grandma her dad was in world war 2 he also barely survived
My dad father was in the war and he got injured in his lungs and he died
This made me sad when I miss my great-grandfather

Stress hormones cause confusion and doubt, stress, anxiety, fear, paranoia, detachment form self, confusion in mind and body, a cutting off to self, a lack of self esteem and confidence, a lack of connection thereby no trust, security faith nor peace. The main human right we need to stand up for is mothers and babies/children to be together. The stresses start with separation too young. Mothers and their babies and children need the adoring love of each other. This is how God has made the family for attaining to His glorious Love for all our happiness, Peace, safety and security for Faith and ultimately Christ, the law leads to Christ. Yet how the law is burdensome, corrupt and over priced. Houses are overpriced and women exhausted with work and children and homes to look after. Most people are over stresses and exhausted these days resulting in cortisols ruling. Stress is the main cause of diseases. God's #Loveisnotacortisol

My great great grandfather was born in 1899 and was only 16 years old when he enlisted during World War 1 in the Canadian army in 1916. He survived and lived a happy life and had my grandfather, he unfortunately was diagnosed with cancer later in his life, he died in 1968 when my grandfather was only 16 years old. It's such a shame I never got to meet him.
My grandfather fought in WWII from 1939-1945. He also survived and died before I was born. However, I’m grateful that he took a lot of pictures throughout his life and during his time in the 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade while fighting in Europe.
