Lost in Naggar - near Manali | Naggar Castle

It was a record breaking snowfall in Jan 2017 and I could not reach Manali that day. But it was a blessing in disguise as I discovered a Paradise elsewhere. I stayed in Patlikuhal and then randomly went to Naggar. Saw Naggar Castle. I loved the place so much that I will definitely rank it above Manali.
So next time you are thinking of avoiding the overcrowded Kheerganga, Triund and Kasol; you can go here !

Rajshree Swain I visited the place in Feb. You have to be lucky to witness snowfall. But yes the probability is maximum in Jan-Feb.

Rajshree Swain just keep an eye on the weather in Himachal. It snows a lot more in Kashmir though. Early Feb in Kashmir is a sure shot jackpot.

the temp you showed -8c is wrong , it will be around -1c , it barely gets -5c in manali during the coldest days and all weather apps and stuff shows wrong weather for places after kullu.
i live in solang valley manali and i have thermometer at my home and there is a thermometer at manali aswell.
today 04-04-2018 google is showing manali weather as max - 16c and min 4c but at the bus stand meter it was max of 23c and min of 8c.
EDIT - water freezes at 0c so thats why water on tree was frozen and snow melts when temp is above 0c thats why it froze like a pole because snow melted when temp was above 0 and droplets started freezing when temp got 0c
