Here are timestamps to help with some of your FAQs about mini twists / spring twists: What hair did I use? 7:28 hair linked in the description box How many packs of hair did I use? 7:50 How many twists do I have? 8:04 Which direction do I twist? 2:48 Do I rinse the hair prior to installing? No I don't, but you can with a tub of water and a little bit of ACV Can you get this hair wet? I've never gotten it wet before so I honestly can't say! Do you wash your hair while it's in this style? No I don't wash my hair while in these twists
I know this is hella old in UA-cam time but I've had this style multiple times and in my experience: Yes you can get it wet, some of your natural hair may become more poofy or begin to stick out of the twists but it's super easy to tuck back in and will not look very obvious because of how natural the extensions are. I've also washed my hair multiple times with these twists in and both times it worked perfectly. Just be gentle and make sure to dry your scalp!
This was really helpful, especially the twisting direction. I have been twisting it the wrong way and I would always wonder why it doesn't look clean😂.
If you twist left over right, you'll also have to reverse the directions that you're twisting the hair in, if that makes sense. But it IS possible to achieve a clean, tight twist using left over right.
Thanks again for the tutorial. I did this style on myself and it took 14 hours, 29 minutes, and 34 seconds. It turned out amazing but definitely took a long time. Hopefully, I can become faster as I keep doing this style
Mines took 6-7 hrs for the whole process including the pre parting and separating the braiding hair, twist itself shouldnt take too long unless you were taking alot of breaks and stuff
@@Boss_etc853 I didn't pre-part and I separated as I went. I can't pre-part to save my life. I took breaks but I paused my timer and unpaused when I resumed. I’ve used this exact hair and I have split it into 4 and 8 pieces from one strand. My hair was so fluffy and full. I only used one pack too. It’s such a fabulous deal
Love how you achieved this style!! Learning how to do protected styles after a rather pricey yet beautiful knotless box braid style. Thank you for this tutorial!!
Sooo lightweight, you can barely feel it 🙌🏽 Ooh I love how splitting it into 3 sounds! I actually wanna do even smaller sections next time. Let me know how you like it splitting into 4!
@@jaichanellie OoooOoo even smaller sections?! 👀 Im dying to know what that would look like! I just realized I have this hair & started playing in the mirror. Wish me luck… you are a life saver! 🤗
Thank you for saying the total number of twists. I usually do 50-60 twists/braids/locs approximately 12-15 twists per quarter. But I am thinking of doing 75-100 on my head this time. Trying to figure out the parting in the back is the most time consuming part for me.

I just love doing this bc it give my hair a rest for a few weeks and give a lil length bc my hair likes to revert like I have nothing despite being mid back length. Thanks for the updated tutorial ❤

Omg what a full-circle moment 🥺 thanks for sticking around since then!!!! I really appreciate it, I love explaining things. just watched it for beginner friendliness and i learned so much!! i went hair shopping in my closet and got excess springy twist hair!! watched it all the way through, you made it look so easy btw, and attemping it now😊 wish me luck!!❤️ and thank you for answering all the right questionss
I’m doing this right now on my 12 year old daughter. I’ve only done 2 and we both agree they look way better than the last time I tried. It was the twist direction! I’m normally a left over right twister but it never lasts with added hair. My only concern/question is how will this hold up in the pool? It’s summer and she’s in the pool a lot. I want this to last 3-4 weeks which is about 20 swims.
Thank you so much, I greatly appreciate this, this will be my first time doing my hair on my own, and I feel like with your tutorial I got it, this looks soo good on you btw
