Fox Won't touch it

I staked a rotisserie chicken to the ground. Wanted to see if the Gray Fox would tear pieces off the chicken. Wouldn't even touch it. To suspicious. Also wanted to note the stake removed the next evening. Overnight the camera failed, and the remaining chicken vanished. I will try it again soon. Please enjoy and consider subscribing.

I watch a lot of foxes, mostly captives, rescues, and pets. I'm surprised these foxes passed up a chicken dinner delivered to their door, so to speak,

I agree. I thought there would be an attempt to take pieces off. They were very cautious and suspicious.

you know, foxes like to eat fruits and insects. sorry to disapoint you 🤣 ofc they can also eat meat, but its rare...sometimes they even kill chickens just for fun, dont eat their flesh but sometimes chicken's head are missing. at least foxes in my country are like this ( red fox )

they even eat poop! im serious no joking..i have seen foxes eating my dogs poop! i know i sound crazy or trolling, but its true..they are omnivores animals so they eat what is needed, but they prefer fruits, insects, eggs. last case they eat everything chickens, rabbits, rats, frogs, birds
