True i want to know aswell. Besides that the crowd looks like they hear this for the first time. Nobody is singing along or going crazy.. only bounce their head a little bit. Its frustrating because i was at this festival and didn't notice a thing

Okay seriously what is it with having Matthan sing EVERY LINE in unison with Matt? This has been a thing since the melophobia tour and it’s so grating not being to just hear Matt sing at any point ever
Its cos matt sometimes goes like that one dude said "GO CRAZYYY AHHHH GO STUPID AHAHHAHA" in stage and that fucks up that singing
i was thinking the same thing, it doesnt sound right, matt has a very unique voice thats worth hearing
I agree he has a unique voice and I love that type of singer, different from singers that follow a singers protocol for lack of better term, but when the combination is mixed correctly and the sound is set right, I think it reinforces the positives and helps to omit the negatives of the singing...especially when someone is singing for a long time and their voice gets a bit out of normal range. Just my opinion though...but what a kick ass show to have been able to b a part of. Damn.

Best band of this decade, portrayed what i imagined
Hey Matt buddy, you really shine here. Your charisma is so much stronger in more intimate crowds. Possibly a more contained space puts you in direct contact with the audience. Whatever it is it's beautiful. You stand out so beautifully. And you are just so fun to watch in this setting. Great new album, best yet! Thank you gentlemen.
really loved this performance, they are so good when in smaller crowds, my 2nd favorite is from iheart radio from early 2016 i think

Backing vocals were so high in the melophobia songs. They were not recorded or prepped with backing vocals so I can see why it sounds the way it does. The Social Cues Tracks are incredible with the backing vocals

He did hurt his foot really bad, but not at this performance. They were performing on a bigger stage aswell, Nick jumped and fell.

I played some of their stuff for my mother, who lived through the British Invasion and was a Stones fan. She heard it right away and had never heard CTE before at all. I let her see the video afterwards and couldn’t believe the similarities.
