Biden's performance was terrible. He's not recovering from this. He got trounced by that sociopath. He will lose this election. I'm embarrassed and deeply concerned for the future of this country. The Democratic party/DNC blew it. The only tiny chance left to win against Trump would be to choose another candidate. Watching that debate was like watching an episode of the twilight zone. Biden's lost "state" was clearly, painfully obvious. Trump was allowed to gish gallop & lie continuously, rapid fire.. with nearly no coherent push back from Biden. It really pisses me off that I've been forced into this decision. I'm disgusted by what the republican party has become and furious with the democratic party.

Honestly, I've been fighting with my pro-Biden friend for months, and it's absolutely aggravating that this election is close in part because the party has stubbornly stuck with Biden and letting him run, despite all the concerns and popularity issues. It's like they learned absolutely nothing from 2016 and are going to let the Constitution burn over party loyalty and a weird kind of gaslighting that voters are idiots to care about age.
I and almost everyone thought that after winning in 2020 they would end up going behind another candidate between then and now, even in 2020, a second Biden term felt very dangerous of losing.

When Biden was stiff and barely moving to the music in the Juneteenth video, I thought, Yes, he looks stiff but would you really expect a white man of his age to be dancing.
When I saw the video of Biden meeting with the Italian president and Fox said he was wandering off, I didn't see any evidence of that.
When Fox showed the clip where it looked like Biden starting to sit down where there wasn't a chair, I thought, Oh no, this is bad but then I saw the rest of the clip where it showed he was just starting to sit down too early and it was just bad timing on Biden's part.
When I saw the clip of the Para shooters landing and Biden was wandering of and waving to no one it looked bad, but then when panning out there was a guy on the ground he was waving at it looked better but then you could tell the guy on the ground wasn't paying any attention to him it looked bad again.
When I saw Biden not waving and just standing frozen until and Obama had to come up to him and guide him off stage at the Democratic rally, I notice the wooden-like stance, posture, walking, then I made the connection that he looked similar in all of those clips from the Juneteenth clip all of the way through to Obama walking him off of the stage and I started to get concerned and the debate cemented those concerns. I still think Biden in a coma is still better than tRump in any stage of animation but I don't see how Biden's campaign staff can even eek out a win for the country. The DNC is clearly putting PAC money before the country by running Biden against tRump and any liberal/Democrat who doesn't see that is just lying to themself.

I was actually not surprised about this debate -- it was what I feared. Despite Trump's numerous lies, and racism that was on full display, people will focus on the fact that Biden looked old and feeble. It was his job to convince undecideds that he is up to the job, and he failed, massively.

I'm not a big fan of Michael Steele, but what he said tonight on MSNBC made quite a bit of sense..
He said that Biden's people prepped him with a whole lot of statistics to try to recite - which is something he's not good at presenting. Instead, Biden should had just been good-old Uncle Joe and spent the whole time ripping on Trump's offensiveness and policy shortcomings.
No amount of prep or strategy would have been sufficient to hide Biden's obvious cognitive decline, especially when the uppers are obviously losing their efficacy.

I am someone who has had their student loan forgiven under the Biden-Harris administration and as Sam said it has indeed had a "material impact" on my life. The biggest thing is that in order for these criminal charges to be felonies, he had to meet the condition that he committed these crimes, while furthering another crime. But in the trial, the prosecution never suggested other crimes he was commiting, he was never convicted of another crime, and the jury didn't have to agree on which crime he supposedly commited. It will be overturned on that fact alone.
I watched and listened halfheartedly to almost all of the debate. Biden definitely flubbed here and there. They both definitely said nothing or next to nothing of substance. Trump dodged many questions and had to be reminded to answer each time. I don't understand why anyone thinks this debate matters. Both came off as old but in different ways. Both shouldn't be running but everyone is only focused on Biden and it is disheartening that there isn't anyone focusing on how bad Trump did.
I hope Biden doesn't get out of the race. He is doing a great job.
