I also want to thank the many animatics on youtube for inspiring me, you may notice some of those inspirations in my animatic.
I have terrible work flow so there might be some mistakes lingering in this animatic, reuploads may occur lol

Wow, the ending portion here is one of the best I've seen on youtube. (Though I love them all) I love how he's so lost in his obsession with Veronica at this point, that he doesn't notice her new found fear of him. God I love me some crazy JD.
Omg thank you!! Yes! I wanted him to appear so far gone at the end, but I had this idea for the animatic that you never see JD's face when he says "I worship you...etc" the first time. I wanted it to be more of a cold, terrifying realization for Veronica when she does see his face saying those things to her.

Barrett weed (veronica) was 5'6 5'7 when she did heathers and Ryan McCarten (JD) was 6'1
So JD is tall and veronica is (semi) short(not that short. If that makes any sense)

Wow, this must have taken a lot of time and effort, because it's so awesome. I love the symbolism and the movement and the expressions and everything (Ok, i'm getting excited but I loved this animatic sooo damn much). I think that what I liked the most is when Veronica falls at the end and JD holds her, there's so much emotion in that scene.
I'm looking forward to see more of your content.

The ending, where JD’s eyes go all red and holds Veronica, Veronica slowly coming to the realization of what she’s gotten herself into with him, and the dramatic music building up as they both sing, is not only powerful, but also kind of chilling, especially with the flashes of Chandler, Kurt, and Ram’s bloody bodies.

In the movie he asks if Veronica knows German, to which she replies she took French. Thus he can call them "ich lüge bullets" knowing she won't understand what that means. In order for the scam to go off, Veronica has to believe the bullets are fake.

I really liked Veronica’s reaction to JD killing Kurt. The part where he’s holding her and she’s just looking at her bloodstained hand is one of my favorites

I think this song shows JD's main problem, and that is that he believes that he is God, that he has the ability to decide who lives and who dies, that's why he says they are the meteorite that killed the dinosaurs, because he refers to kill everyone that he thinks he should kill

Before this, I thought Veronica sang with him just because she was scared, but this makes me think she also felt like there was no one else in the world but them two. She thought no one else would be there for her but him.
This instantly became my favorite animatic of Heathers and possibly all musicals. I love it!

oh my gosh, i just noticed (after dozens of replays) that the color scheme slowly changes from the cool blue at the beginning, to the lilac in the middle and then the soft, sweet pink when Veronica's meeting Kurt and Ram and then "bang, bang" it's blood red. i love it so much. it's so good! and how the blood-splatter pattern matches PERFECTLY with each scene flash after that first shot hits Ram.
this really deserves more love because it's obvious you put so much love and passion into this... i keep coming back to this video because no other animatic or animation i've seen *period* conveys the emotion and depth that this video does.
Everyone’s art of JD is different. Veronica has a set appearance but not JD. Sooo... it’s cool.

The best parts when you captured the sweetness in JD and Veronica and the pure horror when JD killed Kurt and Ram
this deserves way more views, like holy crap dude!!! this is an amazing animation and its so much more fluid than other animatics i see. holy freakin crap. I applaud you and your hard work with this video. I absolutely adore your art style as im trying to develop my own. This is myt absolute favorite animation ive ever seen for any song or scene in any of the fandoms im in. Please continue your hard work it really payed off. You have a wonderful career in art (if you do this as a career idk maybe its a hobby) but you truly have talent.
