Us 10 guy's have to stick together! It would be so sweet to be able to find all of the S&W 10's and still be able to keep the house? LOL Right now the top of my holy grail list is the S&W 610!
John Banks Congrats.... I carry my 5906 as much as I can. I am no marksman, but that damn 5906 sure makes me look good. I ordered the Hogue grips for it but ended up switching back to the original grips because as much as I love them on my 1006 they just made the 5906 feel to big. I did get a new original set of grips for the 5906 on Midway USA. If you want my Hogue grips for the 5906 just let me know and I will send them to you.
John Banks Novak. The 1006 with the Hogue grips and the 5906 with the original grips are about the same size. My 5906 is in great condition but the grips felt slippery.... But the new ones feel perfect.
I have had this 1006 for 28 years. This is by far the best handgun I have ever owned. put hundreds and hundreds of rounds through this and maybe jammed 2 or 3 times. very reliable. I will never sell it.
WV State Police had them for a short while. My friends and I were able to each get one back in the 1990s. Each was selected by a S&W rep for us. They show holster wear from use, but all shot well, and several of us have used them to fill deer tags. Mine was on a doe that tried to walk over me in my blind. It's a great sidearm for gun season.
I was actually going to purchase a Glock20 as I wanted a 10mm, but I recently purchased a SW 659 in 9mm and it got me all primal. So I have been looking for a 1066 all the way up to a 1086 after watching your review and low and behold today I found one with seven mags and custom leather holster. Now Im like a kid on Christmas waiting for that new toy to come in. Great review glad I found it!
I have owed a 1006 since 1996 and I love the gun. I have never had any issues with it at all. My favorite from my collection of more than 20 guns. It will never leave my collection and will be passed to one of my sons one day. They know what it means to me to keep it in the family and handed down to the next generation.
T-Rock coach Burris I just got mine off gun broker and I love it cleaned it up looking brand new took it to the firing range and that bad boy got some hell of a fire power
I have a police-contract 5906 as well, though, it was never used before I got it! It's one of my favorite pistols. So overbuilt for a 9mm. Never had any issues with mine, either.
I completely agree with you because this is a beast...this was my first handgun ever , I’ve wasted a lot of lead downrange with it without any malfunction. I really love the design and the reliability of this handgun and I’ll never ever sell it!
The character Sonny Crockett never used a Smith and Wesson 1006. Under the Bren Ten, yes. After the Bren, "Crockett" utilized the Smith and Wesson 4506.However, this is a nice sidearm.
@@Its_Papa_John Me too, man! Great vid. I got my 1006 10 years ago (1/10/10 to be precise). It's definitely got the Miami Vice spirit. You can imagine if the show progressed further into the 90s, Crockett would eventually be packing one of these. The 4506 he sported is only one step away, really. I now have a 645, 745, 845, 945, 1006, and 4505 (carbon variant of the 4506-1). Got my sights set on a 1076 or 1066 next. Love 10mm.
Awesome pistol... awesome review... this is for the most part a 4506 converted to 10mm... I wonder how many parts are interchangeable? I have had a 4506 since 1992.... 45acp is just sooooooo much cheaper.... I went that way! And the 4506 is a ammo-garbage-disposal!!... if the ammo was stamped 45acp... 4506 would eat it up! I would advise people to replace ejector at 10,000 rounds... recoil spring too... Thanks for taking the time to review
As close to a Bren 10 as most of us will ever get, and arguably better. I've never really paid much attention to 3rd Gen Smiths before, but I recently acquired a 4006, and I really like it.
Hi,good video.i owned the 1006 since 94,0 issues, 0 malfunctions. I am usued at Beretta 98,9 mm, the 1006 is more similar than you can think.two safety levers on the slide, active on the hammer, frame does overtake the ammunition, stronger than Colt delta elite, and a nice double action. A lot of steel, but flat and easy carryed with a good holster.A modern, improved "version" of old 1911...
A very professional presentation of the S&W 1006 et al. Even though I own a Colt Delta. Thanks to the presentation, I am very impressed the pistol. Thank you, John.
Good video, I just acquired a Model 1026. Not many videos about that one, it's same as 1006 except it has the no snag flush hammer and frame mounted decocker. Also fixed sites, it's the same as the 1076 except it has a 5 inch barrel. I was really excited to find one. No box, but it came with 4 magazines. Great shape overall.
Great handgun! I purchased mine (exactly like yours) way back in the 80s new (came in blue cardboard box). I've used it almost exclusively as a stand hunting pistol for hogs and deer here in Texas and it still looks like new. Super accurate and has never skipped a beat ever. I've used almost exclusively 180gr JHP full power hand loads in it over all these years. The power and ballistics of the 10mm is almost identical to the 41 Rem Mag revolver round. The 1006 in 10mm is an awesome big game hunting handgun within 75 yards. I purchased a Glock G40 MOS in 10mm recently thinking a longer slide double stack pistol would be a better hunting piece. The Glock is ok, but I've gone back to using the 1006 as I just shoot it better.
Completely agree with you! The 1006 is the most beautiful 10 mm, and not just becaus a famous Metro-Dade Detective carried one, though the Colt Delta Elite is a fine gun, too! But early 1911 had issues with cracked frames!I was never worried about 10 mm crisp recoil, to me a recoiling gun is just part of the game! And keeping it under control good fun!
@@Its_Papa_John Yes, back then it was the time of the Wonder-Nine, people went crazy about hicap mags, and this sealed the faith of so many great guns - not only pistols, but revolvers in particular! While I never understood why they prefer firing two 9mm when a single 10mm could get the job done! And that same faith ended the Bren Ten, besides serious quality issues - literally a green banana! If the Bren Ten had been tested properly, and developed to full extend, it would have been a great gun! But I suppose S&W paid a high dollar to get their 1006 in Crockett's hands on the TV show, and we all know the magic that marketing can do...
Thank you very much for the kind words! Personally, I think the review could use a lot of improvement and revision. Perhaps I'll do an updated review, if more people request it!
Nice video. Had a 1006. Had 2 1076. Sold one to a game warden here in Montana for bear protection. But it all started with a Colt Delta. Had 2 of them. 1 Bren Ten in SF model. A springfield Omega 6 inch ported. A couple LAR Grizzlies in 45 win mag/10mm. Several Glocks 20 & 29. And now more recently. The S&W 2.0 10mm 4inch. They all shot very well. And for the most part reliable. Except for the Springfield Omega. It was hit & miss with it.
Dang! And I thought I was a 10mm buff!... It's always been a personal dream of mine to own a Bren. Maybe someday, someone will bring them back into production! Springfield is totally hit or miss, to be honest. I would not give them any of my money. Not just because of their dubious quality, but their politics as well. Thank you for the comment, my friend!
I just found your channel. I enjoyed your presentation on the S&W 3rd Gen pistols. I collect them. While living in Los Angeles I carried a 4516-2.. I own many of the S&W 3rd gen pistols. I am in the process of acquiring S&W 1006. I have 2 4516s. As I said carried and trained with them for over 10 years and have thousands of rounds through them with not a single failure of any type. Your research and presentation was very well done. Ricky from IBM, Ret
Hey Ricky! Thanks so much for the kind words. I've actually been meaning to update my presentation, but I haven't had much spare time lately. I'm very glad you enjoyed it! The 3rd Gen series are easily the best pistols ever made. I've never had any malfunctions with them, out of thousands of rounds. In fact, I believe they're the only guns I've ever owned which haven't malfunctioned at all. I don't have any experience with the 4516, but I'm sure it's a fantastic little pistol. One of my main carry pieces right now is a 3914. But since Fall and Winter are right around the corner, it'll give me more opportunities to carry my 1006 and 5906 in my shoulder rig. Stay safe and carry that 4516 everyday! ;)
Nice video. The Bren ten is considered the holy grail 10mm, however poorly designed it was. The 3rd gen Smith's have a nice trigger but the reset is far from short. Enjoy the 1006, it's one hell of a tank and quite easy on the eyes.
Great video. You know your stuff. I have a 1076. I agree: these are fantastic guns. 100% reliable. And capbable of extremely tight groups. Personally, something about the decocker and the leverless slide appeals to my aesthetic sense: has a decidedly "industrial" look. Interestingly, my gun has the front strap checkering and the palm swell grip. But, it DOES have the mag disconnect. So, it can't be an official FBI gun (I don't think). Anyway, thanks for the video.
Very thorough review and well presented. I own 2 of these and a 1086. Wish I could find a 1046, but those are impossible to find. Thank you for the review.
Best all around vidio on the series on U tube! Thank you. Subbing in gratitude... I'm embarrassed to admit that I just shot my 1066 for the first time yesterday after buying it new in 1992 At least I was briefly smart enough to buy a second magazine for it at the same time. Fantastic gun! Crazy SA trigger. Built like a tank
Do you think switching from a 9mm to a 10mm for a home defense pistol is a good idea in today’s world? I know the 9mm let the FBI down in the 1986 Miami shootout but bullet technology has also come a long way. Today’s 9mm definitely performs better than it did in the 80’s. Just wanted some opinions seeing as I’ve been considering switching from 9mm to 10mm and have been looking into the S&W 1006, 1076, and Colt Delta Elite.
I think you'll be just fine with either! I carry both and trust them both equally. You are right, bullet technology has come a very long way since the '80s. If it were 1986, I would not trust 9mm as an adequate self-defense cartridge. But I trust both for almost any purpose nowadays! However, 10mm still remains to be my favorite cartridge of all time.
Thank you for this, I've been looking to get something in best mm but Glocks are ugly as sin. You're right 1006 looks better than all the others, that long barrel helps to get all of the potential out of the round. I'm wondering if Smith and Wesson might bring back the 10mm in the m&p line.
I have a 1006 manufactured in May of 1990. Which I love with all my hear t:-) I also have a 4506 - 1 .45 ACP and they make a beautiful pair together :-)
They are fantastic pistols! :D The 1006 is in a league of its own, for sure.

Wife bought me a 1006 for christmas in 1990, eats anything, built better than a tank, my #1 favorite, picked up a 4006 made in the same year at my bud's gun-pawn shop, just had to have its little brother, now I have a 610 revolver to complete the circle.........
Congratulations, brother! The 1006 has to be the finest 10mm ever made. Both my 1006 and my 5906 were made in 1996. That was from an era when everything Smith made was bombproof. Is your 610 a '90s production, or is it one of the newer ones?
@@Its_Papa_John Yeah, I'm a civilian advisor to the FBI, great folks!! I think the shooter used something large (.308) since he shot right through the door. Hard to defend against that, they were caught by surprise. Won't happen again, I promise. 10 mm probably would not have made a difference, this is a good article: gundigest.com/article/10mm-handguns-and-the-fbi?fbclid=IwAR2FY8GhJBQWhny64D2iHiDZ-ciEjiL28-jWx-a-gG6oOroDFoWfTWJSfxs
Remember when these came out, struggled with selection ended up in 89 buying a Delta Gold Cup 10mm. Don't regret it at all but these 10 series are nice shot someone's 1006 a few years later. Loved it thought the recoil was similar to my Colt. Back then it was these the Colt and the Bren that was pretty much it selection wise. Life's not over yet most people are like the FBI too much recoil.
I think the Bren has to be the best handgun ever made, hands down. But the 1006 is currently the more reliable and well-built option. The Delta Elite has always been on my list. I gotta have one!
I have a 1006, 1076, 1026, and a 1066. I need help with my 1006 because of the odd military style inventory style markings on the frame, barrel, magazine, and slide. Were they ever carried by any branch of the military? Also the gun will only DA function, so I am thinking that there was some part removed to make it fire as such. It was also polished, and the sights and trigger are an odd glossy black finish. I plan on returning it to S&W for a complete refurbishment. My 1026 was reconfigured by S&W as a short slide when it was returned by its previous owner ( for whatever reason ). Between my 3 guns I have 10 magazines but only one matching box. I also have the 4506 and i'm working on the 1086.
Dang, that's quite the 10mm Smith collection! As far as I know, no 1006 was ever issued by any branch of any military. But who knows? Far crazier things have happened. It's likely that the gun you have was issued by a police department sometime from the early '90s to the early '00s. I'm sure a lot of departments either ordered them and cancelled their contract after new recruits complained about recoil, or cancelled them before even receiving them due to 10mm unfortunately being on its way out of the mainstream law enforcement world at the time. Apart from the FBI issuing the 1076, the only official record I can find of any LE agency issuing 10XX-series pistols would be the Virginia State Police issuing the 1026 from 1990-1994. Either way, it's still very likely that your 1006 was an issued gun, given the armory markings. There are a few oddball examples of 3rd Gen Smith & Wesson autos being DAO, but still retaining their ability to be cocked for a more precise single-action shot. That's another one of those lovable oddities from the '90s- since a lot of police departments were still transitioning from traditional DA revolvers to semi-autos, they wanted the same handling characteristics as a revolver, but with the added capacity of a semi-auto. If I were you, I'd send your 1006 in to S&W to see what information they can give you about it, and if any repairs are necessary. They could probably tell you any sort of weird quirks about department contract specs, if yours was an issued gun. I actually sometimes carry a 5906, which was technically a police trade-in, despite having never been issued or fired! Smith sometimes keeps extra guns around due to contractual obligations with departments that still issue their guns. When the contract was finally up, Smith sold it as "used" on the commercial market. For some reason, they require them to be marked as used. But I can say for a fact that I was the first to fire my gun since it left the factory. This was an exceptionally uncommon find, so I can only imagine how amazing it would be if Smith still had some NIB 1006s on the shelves, locked away deep in the heart of one of their warehouses. I'd love to see some pictures of your 1006 and 1026 in their current configurations, they sound delightfully weird. Thanks for the comment! I hope I've been helpful in some way.
Thank you! The 1066 is slightly more compact, with a bobbed hammer, and a few more holster options. So it would probably make for a much better concealed carry option than the 1006. It also has less mass in the front of the slide, so the muzzle-flip might be less, too. I don't know for sure because I've never fired one, but I'm sure the handling is very similar to its big brother. :)
I wish Smith & Wesson came out with a new updated version with a rail. People would buy it, but Smith & Wesson does not want a 10mm unless a revolver. The closest thing we can get is Sig Sauer P220 in 10mm also a awesome hand gun. But it would be nice to get one of these. One question on the 1006, does this field strip like a 1911 or Sig Sauer?
Agreed! I'd totally buy an updated 1006 with the rail, but I'll never get rid of my original. It field strips like a 1911. Smith doesn't realize the potential these pistols still have on the modern market.
John Banks, I think that Smith & Wesson will not do make a 10mm auto pistol because people might buy that instead of there Shields in 40SW. But there is room for both.
@@jimd1968 I'm sure there's room for both if Smith would bring them back. More people are starting to realize how much better metal-framed DA/SA guns are than polymer striker-fired guns.
As the proud and fortunate owner of a California Highway Patrol model 1006 , I can share the glowing attributes of this gun with you. I don’t think you mentioned it, but this gun (like the FBI’s gun) had several modifications incorporated into it’s design and production. I’d be happy to share those differences with you but my reference material describing them are packed away in a box and in transit (I’m relocating to a new State). If no one can provide that information now I’d be glad to share it a week or two down the road. This particular gun also has an interesting “back story “ regarding why only a small number of these commemorative guns were produced for the CHP.
They did not have the Bren 10 mm for the show it was hard to get so they sent them a Bren 45 ACP instead. Then season 3 4 and 5 sonny used the 4506. The FBI boys and girls couldn't handle the requil so they went to the 40 cal in Smith and Wesson in 1992 when the weapon came out. I bought me one for off duty at our dept. But I hated the double safety decocker lever and the fact that while the mag was out of the mag port and a round in the chamber the weapon will not fire! So I gave it to my cop buddy they carried 4006 at his dept. And we carried 4506 at our dept. So I carried my Sig Sauer 45 ACP P220 for 19 years with no problems with my weapon I switched to my Sig Sauer 45 ACP P320 back in 2014 and still cary it! I told my FTO my finger is my safety he smiled and said that's why we let you Carrie it!
Unfortunately, no. Smith never produced the Model 1006 with a rail, so there's really no option for mounting a light. I believe there was a company in the mid-'90s produced a laser module for the Model 4506, which mounted to the front of the trigger guard. If it'll fit the 4506, it'll likely fit the 1006 as well. But as far as light-mounting, I there aren't any options.
@@Its_Papa_John I found a 1026 with the palm swells a few days ago, but it got sold while I debated with myself whether to get it. My hands just aren't big enough for those huge Smiths.
@@Its_Papa_John I can hold them fine, but they feel awful to me. For reference, I find a HK Mark 23 much better. I tried both flat and arched back grips to no avail. Do the Hogues make them feel better? Maybe the lack of palm swell was my issue. I'm still kicking myself for not jumping on the 1026 I saw.
Beautiful handgun, but such a nightmare in price increase in the modern day....... would love this as a first 10mm range/homedefense gun due to the steel frame
It's one of the best handguns money can buy! It really is a shame that they're so expensive nowadays, but the quality and craftsmanship is worth it, for sure.
@@fireemblemistrash75 I wish! There aren't enough good 10mm handguns on the market nowadays. Just polymer-frame garbage, mostly. The Delta Elite and other 10mm 1911s are great, but not the most robust. I do really like the EAA/Tanfoglio 10mm handguns, since they're so similar to the Bren Ten. Just not quite on the same level of cool!
@@Its_Papa_John agreed, polymer is nice and I do love it as it has helped with people afford handguns of as good quality for less, but frankly it’s everywhere and preference exists for a reason. Just like how everyone doesn’t want a glock, not everyone wants a polymer framed handgun. I wish S&W would bring back these guns, Id buy them in a heart beat

I just got one off o f Gb but it has a stainless steel guide rod that does not go all the way to the end of the bushing. Is this an upgrade someone made and is it an issue? The gun slide functions fine manually (have not shot it yet)

Very good question! Crockett did carry the 4506-0, which is very aesthetically similar to the 1006. He also carried the Bren Ten. His was technically a .45, since it was a blank gun. But because of the Bren's original 10mm chambering, a lot of people like to think of the 1006 as the next pistol Crockett would have carried, had he not retired in 1990.
I definitely recommend them! Probably the best 10mm pistol money can buy, at the moment. Unless you wanna buy an old Bren Ten for way more than they're worth!

The 1076 version which the FBI commissioned is a much better bullet-launcher...short 4.25" barrel, loses the bulky amby-safeties for a de-cocking lever and barely 1" width & adds Novak combat sights....alas, the female FBI Agents couldn't handle the 1076 = birth of the .40 Smith & Wesson
Not true. The holy trail means very rare. A Hi-Point is very common. Where as a bren 10 was only made for 2 years and the manufacturer went bankrupt even after it was a centerpiece in a tv show called Miami Vice.
Also you can find a s&w 1006 for $1500. A Bren 10 goes for way more because of the law of supply and demand. I am not mocking your choice. I am just throwing something else to think about. If I owned any of the 2 guns I mentioned, I would be very weary of shooting any of them. These would be oiled up and thrown in a display case and than a safe at the end of the day, but you have to agree the 1006 is easier to come by than a bren 10.
Well that is a matter of opinion. I would hate to be you if you had to get it repaired. Logistics has a lot to do with the reason to own and shoot them. A firearm is a machine and all machines fail. Do you drive a 1956 Cadillac in the snow? Well that's up to you, but for me, in order to keep it original, you gotta have replacement parts or not shoot it. All I am saying for me, I would keep a 1006 and shoot a tanfoglio witness elite in 10mm. I have guns that I don't shoot often because of that reason. I used to carry a gun everyday, but felt I can't because they don't make them anymore.
Guns in general. I am ferm believer in Murphy's Law. I understand your opinion, and I respect it. I don't want to take away anything you're doing. I used to be like you, but as I have gotten older, Mind you I am 34, I start seeing things differently. I have been shooting since I was 18 when I was in the Marine Corps. When I got out in 2007, I purchased my first non government issued firearm. I also knew very little in comparison of what I know now. I did jobs such as armed security. One particular night, I worked a site that didn't want armed security, so I had my weapon locked in the trunk. Guess what happened? A guy broke in and grabbed my weapon and I never saw my first handgun again. You can imagine losing something like that. Luckily they still make this model. Imagine if this were to happen today with my CZ-75 B SA in .40 S&W? CZ has discontinued that model not that long ago. I can replace parts, but not the gun itself. I am only expressing my opinion because there is some validity in my argument. It isn't because I am a buzz kill either.
Do true, but I hope to pass it to one of my kids. They know the value. Some are pretty much worthless, but some are very rare. Every firearm is a piece of history. If the kids overall don't appreciate them, than collectors or museum will. I hate when someone sells guns to a police buy back and some are rare and will be melted down.
Awesome video .... Holy Grail indeed!

It's a favorite of mine, too! And they're built to last lifetimes.
T-Rock coach Burris I just got mine off gun broker and I love it cleaned it up looking brand new took it to the firing range and that bad boy got some hell of a fire power
I bought 5906 9mm 12yrs ago it's a police trade and never had any issues it will never leave my collection. I would love to own a 4506 or a 1006.
I have a police-contract 5906 as well, though, it was never used before I got it! It's one of my favorite pistols. So overbuilt for a 9mm. Never had any issues with mine, either.
Had a couple 5926 over the year's. Same gun as the 5906. But with the decocker on the side.
Bren Ten (chambered in .45), then the S&W 645. 4506 wasn't until S5.
Love 10mm.
I'm grateful to have a 1006. Though the Bren Ten would also be nice, at least I have many spare magazines for my Smith!
This gun is so badass that my Sig Spartan 1911 is afraid to stay in the gun safe with it .
It is my Holy Grail gun as well. I've always been a S&W fan.
I've never found those 10mm Glocks to be all that durable, either. The 1006 is king!
Love the 1006 and always have but as yet haven’t purchased one. One day I will get one. Nice review with quality information.
Thank you very much for the kind words! Personally, I think the review could use a lot of improvement and revision. Perhaps I'll do an updated review, if more people request it!

Best video on this pistol out there . Good job
Nice video. Had a 1006.
Stay safe and carry that 4516 everyday! ;)
@@Its_Papa_John Hi John, thanks. I look forward to your updated presentation
I agree 100%. I have a 6904 that shoots with my Sigs and Berettas all day. Also have a 645 that brings out my inner Sonny Crocket whenever I shoot it.
Very thorough review and well presented. I own 2 of these and a 1086. Wish I could find a 1046, but those are impossible to find. Thank you for the review.
I own one and love it carry it on my side when hunting for a personal defense weapon
It's my number one choice for an outdoors sidearm!
3rd Gen. S&W pistols are some of the sexiest handguns I’ve ever seen. I do miss them very much!
Agreed! Maybe we'll be fortunate enough to see them reach full production again someday. ;)
Great pistol
Indeed. Hasn't missed a beat yet!
Best all around vidio on the series on U tube! Thank you. Subbing in gratitude...
I'm embarrassed to admit that I just shot my 1066 for the first time yesterday after buying it new in 1992
At least I was briefly smart enough to buy a second magazine for it at the same time. Fantastic gun! Crazy SA trigger. Built like a tank
Thank you so much!! At least you're still getting to enjoy and shoot your 1066, as new as if it were 1992 again! If only...
love the intro music!
Great and thorough review. Beautiful gun and presentation. I have a 1006 like your yours and it too, will not leave my collection!
Just got one today 🤘 first and only one iv ever seen in Canada in person and thankfully it was payday haha
Great video. Like the Crockett quote at the end. Love to find one of these someday.
Thank you! I actually carried mine today. I think you'd really enjoy adding one to your stables!
Thank you for this, I've been looking to get something in best mm but Glocks are ugly as sin.
You're right 1006 looks better than all the others, that long barrel helps to get all of the potential out of the round.
I'm wondering if Smith and Wesson might bring back the 10mm in the m&p line.
They do now
I have a 1006 manufactured in May of 1990. Which I love with all my hear t:-)
I also have a 4506 - 1 .45 ACP and they make a beautiful pair together :-)
Great video! The FBI probably wishes they kept the 10 mm on hand after the recent shooting.
Thank you! I'm sure they do. Very sad about those agents who were killed in the line of duty.
Superb video. Thank you so much for posting.
Well it is nice to see you posted pictures of my 10xx series pistol in your video...

Very good review. Thanks. Curious about your views on the 1066 compared to the 1006.

@@walters6628 No problem, my friend! :) Any other questions, you know who to come to.
I enjoy watching your videos...i'm definitely learning a little bit more about guns.
One question on the 1006, does this
field strip like a 1911 or Sig Sauer?

The Miami Vice undertones would have actually applied more had this been a S&W 645....or the Bren10, of course.
Is there a recommended mounted flashlight for this firearm?
Unfortunately, no. Smith never produced the Model 1006 with a rail, so there's really no option for mounting a light. I believe there was a company in the mid-'90s produced a laser module for the Model 4506, which mounted to the front of the trigger guard. If it'll fit the 4506, it'll likely fit the 1006 as well. But as far as light-mounting, I there aren't any options.

Great guns, I own two of them. I was also lucky enough to find 8 magazines at a gun show for 120 cash
@@Its_Papa_John i have one for carry and one is still new in box. As for the mags, i sold 2 of them for $160 to make my money back, I didn't realize how much the mags were going for until I bought these!
John Banks i will give u 600 for the gun and the mags
Had a chance to get one of these a few years ago for about $700.. now I look and IF you find one in good shape it's anywhere from 1300-1700 😵 #regret
I forget how much I paid for mine, but I sure would have appreciated getting it for $700! If I recall, it was at least $1,000.
Mine is for sale..1300.00
@@jimvegas46 I finally got me one off gun broker for 1300 and I love it cleaned it up and it's look brand new
I love mine.
That a good bear gun
Yes!
I love my Tanfo Stock I in 10mm.
@@Its_Papa_John Its the closest thing to the Bren Ten there is after the unfortunate failure of the VLTOR reboot. I dont know why CZ or HK have jumped on the 10mm bandwagon as more jump on it and 40S&W models gets discontinued due to poor sales.
hello name of the song please? Thank you
"Crockett's Theme", by Jan Hammer ;)
i would like a extended magazine 10 rounds isnt enoughh.
Would love to buddy the 10mm with my 5906!!!!
John Banks. I came across my 5906 from a former L.E.O. whom was downsizing his collection. Reliability so far is absolutely no issue.
If this pistol was made in the 90s why do people always associate this gun with sonny crocket he didn’t carry that particular sidearm
Oh
@@Its_Papa_Johnyou think that the 1006 would make a good hunting pistol?
@@randallgreene6428 I think so, yes!
Was an idiot to sell it. But being honest, was very expensive to shoot.
It's well worth the expense, if you ask me! There's nothing quite like shooting a 10mm.
After 3 Delta and a G20 I did finally land here............
And here he stayed! ;)
😔 dont dry fire It the pin Will get knocked outta place
❤
Ohhh yeahhhhh a FUCKIN CLASSSSSICCCCCCC
I want one❤
I definitely recommend them! Probably the best 10mm pistol money can buy, at the moment. Unless you wanna buy an old Bren Ten for way more than they're worth!
Almost wet my self in the first minute. That was a boss intro! Boy she flings that brass like its nobodies business @ 1:03 . She flings that brass like my wife at a crowded \V/ictora's Secret semi annual 4 for the price of 1 panty raid when she cant find the perfect size in the perfect color.
Merit too that. Longer barrel keeps true velocity however.
No the Bren 10 is the holy grail item. Sonny Crockett carried a Bren 10.
Ekbheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Unfortunately the 1006 isn't for twinks :(
Very unfortunate, indeed... :'(
This is the best damn firearm review I have ever watched! The 2 down vote must be jealous or pussies that can't handle such a bad ass firearm.
Mag disconnect sux
Yes, it does! I can totally understand why such a feature would exist, but it just isn't for me.
