It is like taking a large diamond and tying it to a string and putting it on your neck. Natural beauty that will be hidden due to lack of craftsmanship.
@@speedster9622 most likely Sapele, possibly Sipo (Utile). That tree is 150+ years old, likely 200. I have cut many of them over the years. Log came out of Congo (DRC), But that stops this year. No more log exports from West Africa as of Jan. 1, 2023. Growth rings on that species is about 1/16”-1/8” per year.
