I-DLE are fantastic; each of their title tracks brings something different from the last. My personal favourites are Oh My God (#1), Lion, Latata, Uh Oh, and more.
If you like the rapper and leader, Soyeon, you'll like her even more when you find out she writes and produces all of their songs. A one-of-a-kind allstar in the industry. Other projects she's been in include the group K/DA, a virtual pop group created from League of Legends champions (also starring Miyeon from I-DLE), and recently a banger with some other great rappers called "Is this bad b****** number?"

La chica que te llamo la atención se llama Soyeon y definitivamente es una reina, ella es la rapera principal, además compone y produce algunas canciones de (G)-ldle tiene hasta voz muy única y bastante llamativa.

It's nice to see more Kpop groups playing with a slightly rockier sound. If nothing else if it becomes more accepted in Korea it'll be good for Dreamcatcher.

Que bueno que reaccionaras a G Idle, en realidad se pronuncia "aidel" sin la g, el nombre del fandom es "neverland" antes eran 6 pero una integrante Soojin fue denunciada por bullying escolar y por una actriz y bueno fue un lío porque era muy querida. Tomboy fue un boom en Corea haciendo all kill significa primero en todos los charts coreanos que son varios y es muy dificil hacerlo, este año lo hizo Taeyeon con INVU que era la lider de Girl Generation una banda legendaria y hace poco lo hizo Bigband otra banda legendaria con un regreso despues de muchos años con "Still life". La que vos decís que tiene actitud es la lider y main rapper, ella es increible super talentosa participa en la producción de las canciones y junto a Miyeon main vocal participaron en algunas canciones para el juego League of Legends LOL formando parte del grupo K/DA (grupo virtual de 4 personajes del juego) junto a dos estadounidenses donde cada una de las 4 representa a un personaje. Creo que en el 2018 hicieron una presentación de realidad aumentada donde aparecían los personajes para el mundial de LOL.

Hola, me gusto mucho la tuya reacion. Soy fan del grupo, Gidle siempre ven de comeback con cosas diferentes. Son unicas. Creo que te va a gustar de las canciones OH My God, Lion, My Bag Y Never Stop me. Voy a esperar otras reaciones de GIdle 😍
(G)i-dle es un grupo de 6 chicas 3 Coreanas(Soyeon(líder, Main rapper), Miyeon(Main Vocalist), Soojin(Main dancer)), 1 China(Yuqi(sub-vocalist, sub-rapper)), 1 Tailandesa(Minnie(Main Vocalist)) y 1 Taiwanesa(Shuhua(sub-vocalist, maknae)) debutaron en el 2018 con Latata, a Soojin la empresa (Cube Entertainment) la echó del grupo ya que tuvo un escándalo de bullying(hay varios videos que explican la situación por si quieres sacar tus propias conclusiones sobre ello) pero ella era muy querida y muchos aún la tenemos como parte del grupo, la que más te ha llamado la atención es Soyeon líder del grupo produce y hace las letras de muchas de las canciones de ellas(todos los title tracks están producidos y escritos por ella) y Yuqi y Minnie también han hecho alguna. En cuanto al concepto de ellas no tienen ninguno definido la verdad si ves sus canciones verás que son todas muy variadas y les gusta probar distintas cosas. Verás que el nombre es un poco especial pues Soyeon se lo inventó porque todos los nombres que le daba la empresa eran horribles(hizo un power point para presentarles el nombre y el logo del grupo xD) , la G es de giojja(mujer en coreano) ya que son chicas y también la G se parece a un 6, la i significa que cada una es ella misma y es diferente y idle es niño en coreano ya que quieren hacer música durante muchos años y pasarlo como niñas haciéndolo. El fandom se llama Neverland. Espero que sigas reaccionando a ellas creo que te van a gustar mucho sus canciones😄

Si te gusta este tipo de vibe rock de la canción(como a mí) deberías escuchar el álbum, se llama I never die y tiene canciones como Liar y Never stop me que también tienen este tipo de sonido y son muy buenas
G-idle es un tremendo grupazo de verdad, merece totalmente la pena que les sigas echando un vistazo porque todas sus canciones son buenísimas. Punto a favor: son igual de cuquis y graciosas como en Dreamcatcher JAJAJAJ

Me encanta cuando halagan los detalles en la producción de la música de idle por qué se que esto viene del trabajo que soyeon hace (fue la chica que llamo tu atención) quien además de productora, ha escrito y compuesto y arreglado la mayor parte de la discografía del grupo, en si el grupo es asombroso ya que todas las miembros son super talentosas, son excelentes vocalistas y bailarinas y si no me equivoco son el único grupo femenino en la industria en tener a varias de sus integrantes produciendo su música, la producer line de idle ( soyeon, yuqi y minnie) y además 4/5 son letristas también (soyeon,yuqi,minnie y miyeon) te recomiendo mucho que te veas una guía para que puedas conocer más detalles del grupo por qué las chicas destacan en muchas cosas más y son a mi parecer uno de los grupos más completos no solo de su generación si no de la industria en general.
Tienes que reaccionar a más canciones de (G)I-dle, no te van a decepcionar te lo aseguro.
realmente es uno de los mejores grupos de k-pop, es una lastima que una de ellas tuviera que irse porque de verdad formaban un grupo maravilloso todas (siguen siendolo obviamente) y hay muchos vídeos a los que deberías reaccionar, realmente el tema es distinto a lo que habían sacado anteriormente pero todos sus temas son buenos, te recomiendo especialmente My Bag, que es también nueva y Oh My God también es un temazo, además de recomendarte obviamente la guía de introducción al grupo para que además puedas también conocer a Soojin (ex integrante). Y si además quieres seguir reaccionando a cosas nuevas te recomiendo el grupo llamado Itzy, es también muuuy bueno :)

You are right about thinking of Avril Lavigne, because the leader of the group (and also the one who wrote the songs on the album, the one in the middle), called Soyeon, was always a fan of Avril Lavigne in her teens too and she made some songs of this album inspired by her.
I recommend you also watch their video for "Never Stop Me", you will like it, and it also has a very good Avril vibe.
Welcome to Neverland. Also, Soyeon has said that Avril was her influence for this song and vid. Check out I-DLEs "Lion" (Queendom) vid. It's probably one of my faves.

Uff está canción es un temazo, absolutamente todo. Yo no las conozco ni nada, pero cuando escuché está canción me encantó.
Cierto con lo que dices de la parte que te suena a Avril Lavigne, de hecho también la canción que me da ese toque es el Solo de DAMI de Dreamcatcher este último álbum que acaban de sacar.
*Dato aparte: Hoy Dreamcatcher por fin ganó su primer win en un programa musical, tras después de 5 años de su carrera.

Some things to know before going deep into (G)I-DLE
Soyeon created Latata because CUBE Entertainment couldn't give them a suitable debut song, she was 19 yo at that time (almost 20) but it was just the starting of our journey !
She then created and (co)produced almost every single song, every song used as a main song (Title Track) are Soyeon's creation
As for today, counting this comeback (I Never Die), there is only one song where Soyeon didn't took part in any kind of way and it's Polaroid created and (co)produced by Yuqi
Soyeon is always involved at least in the lyrics because she can't rap a line/verse that she didn't herself wrote
- Because she think rappers should write their stuff
- And also because she want to express her feeling though her writting
All of (G)I-DLE members have somehow unique voices, Soyeon wasn't ok with the other members voice coaches because they wanted them to be generic for the K-POP industry (if I understood correctly), but she thought that their atypical voices would be the group' strength.
Nowaday we have a producer line, Soyeon (ofc), Minnie and then Yuqi
Minnie wanted to produce song as well, so she come out with "Blow your mind", which is a b-side from "I Made" their 2nd Mini album, she created it alongside with Soyeon, she then created other songs (Moon,Dahlia etc...)
Yuqi then join in the producer line too, with the co-created/produced (alongside Minnie) song "I'm the Trend" which is seen as Nevies anthem. Neverland being the fandom name of (G)I-DLE
We now have 3 capable producer, that can fire in the future and we saw it threw the album "I never die"
With this comeback Miyeon voiced her growing desire to write and produce songs too, so maybe next comeback we will have a Miyeon production too ! For now we will have one song wrote by herself and produce by Yuqi in her solo album !
Yuqi did her solo debut on 2021 with "Giant" and "Bonnie and Clyde", she also used to be in "Learn Way: Season 1" also known as "Learn Wave" during 2020
Her solo debut show how deep and attractful her voice is, I highly recommend listening to it
Minnie started her actress career with "So not worth it" in 2021 aswell which is a Netflix serie
She also had a lot of model shoot during this year
Unfortunetly Soojin got caught in a bully scandal, being accused by an actress, which lead her to not being active from February 2021 to August 2021, then leaving (G)I-DLE but staying under Cube Entertainment from "August 2021"
After bringing the police to the table and juridic case, it was difficult to prove whether the actress lied or not or whether Soojin was a bully or not since the event occured 10-12 years ago... Which lead Soojin leaving Cube Entertainment few weeks ago
(I will not take position on this, I'm only LARGELY summarizing)
"Hwaa" was released January 11 2021 and since that date we didn't had comeback for 1 year and 2 months (I don't count "Last dance" since it's a promotional song for "Universe") and every member took a break and focused more on solo stuff. Foreigner line (Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua) going back in their country
I will not come across everything they had done during 2021/early 2022 but it's mind blowing
They are slaying hard on this comeback, charting well in South Korea, receiving lot's of praise, etc... and I hope everyone will show them support and love for all the harsh time they've been threw during 2021 (and since there debut)
We need to focus on Miyeon solo debut now ! With "My", pls don't let her down, she brought us lot of happy moment, during our loooong hiatus, she deserve to be respected !
Fellow nevies just remember that opening fan war isn't necessarily, (G)I-DLE was always seen as black horse but in the end they always come up with good stuff
We know what they are made of, and we just need to put our hands and mind to support them, our Queens !

* Lion [2019]: composed for Queendom. Was named one of the top 100 k-pop songs of all time by Melon/Seoul Shinmun. I also recommend the live Queendom performance after you see the MV. (Other reactors have been able to post that without takedown/strike issues, but if you choose to avoid those risks, you owe it to yourself to see the stage if you liked the MV.) Motif is Joan of Arc.
* Oh My God [2020]: Not much like this in kpop. Also good to watch the English lyrics version (lyric-only video) where Soyeon has a freer hand than she has in presenting her ideas to Korean society.
* Hann (Alone) [2018] / Hwaa [2021]: Hann (Alone) reflects on past love. Soyeon suggests that Hwaa continues the storyline, illustrating the rebirth of love in the heart (There are two words "Hwaa" in Korean, one of which means "flower" and the other, "flower". "The reason I chose to put those two hwa's together is because the song features a narrator who is in winter but will burn the cold away and bloom like a flower and bring spring to them.")
Other title tracks include their debut "Latata", the Latin-inspired "Señorita", 90's throwback "Uh-Oh", tropical summer song "Dumdi Dumdi", and a composition from members Minnie and Yuqi, "I'm the Trend."
