The guitarist Ivan Mendez did a number of spontaneous sessions with Angelina in the US when she was 12. Every one of them is incredible to watch. That is rare to find, especially in younger girls, they are normally just self-concerned and she is the opposite

Not at all suggesting you weren't there already but it comes to a point when a listener and follower of Angelina realizes , "OMG, everything everyone has been telling me about her is definitely hitting home with me now. I can feel it inside of me and, you know what, it makes me feel great and there is a warmth inside me which is impossible to describe except to say I can feel it and it's wonderful." I think she was eleven when she wrote this song. There is a wisdom that speaks from her that reaches far beyond her age. Big thinking. For me, the meaning of life is to make the best of what is given to us. That can, in absolute terms, be little (as in my case, I suppose lol). It doesn't matter.

Sarge I think one of your best reactions! Your comments were spot on. One of the things I got from this is that first she wrote this when she was 11 and she was 12 while performing it. She is wise behind her age. I also got from the song that everything she portrayed throughout was positive and a wonderful outlook on the world, consistent with a young girl who has not suffered the losses of life. However, she is wise enough to know, and she depicts it at the end, that life is good and bad. Just unbelievable for a girl that age to have that type of insight.
I couldn't agree more. She has an old soul and can understand things that people at her age arent even supposed to be thinking about, but she already has it thought all the way through. And thank you for the compliment
You are entirely welcome. Angelina appears to have turned you just in 24 hours from a bear to a pussycat lol. The thing is she has that effect on people and it's why so many are so fond of her. I follow many artists but none affect me on an emotional level like Angelina. I have cried to a number of her songs as they just hit me a certain way. One in particular, Michael Jackson's heal the World. Lord knows we need that now in this world and Angelina takes a legendary song and makes it her own with emotion that goes even beyond Michaels! I will likely be providing you some requests in the near future.

Dylan Meeks is the one on keyboard. He has played with many including The Roots (Jimmy Fallon/ Tonight show). Whenever you see Ivan Mendez on guitar, we know it is 2018 when Angelina was 12. Angelina first sung this song for her "It's Magic" album.

Lol. Trying to have a philosophical discussion on the meaning of life in the comments of a reaction to Angelina is a difficult task indeed. You say "happiness" is the key. What if your happiness comes at the expense of others? I'm sure exploiting others makes some people happy. And isn't sadness/pain part of the meaning of life? "the good and bad" as AJ says. Maybe we should aim for kindness (maybe love). I'm glad you found some happiness with your family. Everyone isn't as lucky. Ultimately, the "meaning" of life, why we're here, is, as a species, as all species, is to survive and reproduce. What we as individuals do along that path is what makes it interesting. Angelina adds to that mix. Peace!
