It's amazing how much coins have changed. There's a few late 1800, early 1900 dollars around.. A few wheat pennies too.. wish we had some steel pennies!! Today's pennies are just stupid. Thank you Bryce!!

Before Alter bought Gopher Salvage in Mankato they always paid cash. The owner always tried to work a $2, and a half dollar into the pay out. There are a bunch around here. The only silver is a 1958 Ben Franklin Dad gave me over 50 years ago. Thank you Will.

I know ! Pennies are copper clad zinc since the 70s. Somewhere there's a 1958 Ben Franklin Dad gave me all of 50 years ago. Thank you Ed.

The last half dollar I received as change in a regular transaction was buying ice cream at the State Fair maybe 7-8 years ago.
