In Digimon lore, Machinedramon is an amalgamation of all Cyborg Digimon.
The Claw on its left hand is inherited from MetalGreymon. That means, it is attached to a chain inside and can be launched for grappling or similar purposes. This is called Booster Claw.
The Giga Destroyer is also inherited from MetalGreymon. That means that each Missile has the destructive capacity of a nuclear warhead, if not even more.
The Mugen Cannon is the psycho-blaster from MetalMamemon but just way bigger and stronger.
The right arm is from MetalTyrannomon and is able to fire a laser.
And Machinedramon can also fire a laser-circus type move from each segment of the tail.
And finally, Machinedramon is able to detonate itself with the infinite energy stored in its Digicore.
All in all, a pure machine of destruction!!
And do Omegamon X next, please!
Correction: right arm is from Megadramon(also the head). MetalTyranomon part is the lower jaw and the wires on belly. Also the skull knee is from Andromon shoulder.

And with all those armor and weapons, still got slashed like a paper by Wargreymon and his overpower dragon slayer claw in the anime.. Still, its a cool battle tho
You forgot that he was created in Mount Mugen, which gives him his original name Mugendramon, also that when he was created, he was in fact the most powerful digimon.

@@beng3216 I built it the other day it's a pretty solid kit you can hold it by the foot and it'll just stay still in place but its really heavy on stickers like 98 percent of the Gems/Crystals are stickers

It's worth noting that the peg holes on the shoulders and waist are 3mm, and the holes on the elbows are 5mm. This means that, on top of his own weaponry, Machinedramon is compatible with 30 Minute Missions weapons. Because you can never have enuff dakka.

The arms of Machinedramon come from Megadramon (the Mega Hand) and (specifically the virus version of) MetalGreymon (Booster Claw) which kind of indicates the attacks that they do. In addition to spinning and pinching, the Mega Hand has a missile launcher in the middle that shoots organic missiles similar to the ones the chest Giga Destroyer does. The other arm, the Booster Claw, literally the "hand" part extends on a long flat segmented cable similar to the EW version of Altron, but because it's digital the cable just disappears when it's retracted. Also, it can probably just cover the claws in fire/energy, Metalgreymon can do that sometimes.
Megadorkdramon
One of my favorite kits of the year. Such menacing shelf presence. Big and quick build. 👍🏻👍🏻 way up
If you thought Machinedramon didn't have enough weapons already, it has one last one called Catastrophe D, it basically detonate itself to take its enemies with him.
What I love about Machinedramon is that it's made up of parts from other mechanical digimon, like how its left arm is from metal greymon.
I know this is late, but is it just me, or are all of Machinedramon's parts comprised of Ultimate/Perfect Digimon?
Seriously, MetalGreymon. Megadramon/Gigadramon, Andromon, MetalMamemon. Those are all Ultimate Digimon.

I pre-order this kit a long time ago ,and my 8 year old loved it so much ,that I gave it to him ,such an amazing kit
I LOVED building Machinedramon and I loved posing it up after! Such an awesome design and an even more awesome of a kit!
I vote the WarGreymon standard personally.
Definitely my favorite of the digimon kits. Also, my vote is to see the Omegamon X-Antibody kit since i wanna know how much better it is than the original.
Omegamon X, idk the standard Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon doesn't interest me as much as Amplified did, hope we get Alphamon amplified in the future

Finally Machinedramon Amplified review. This kit looked like it was all around great and it shows here.
As many said here, Omegamon X-Antibody is probably the next pick. Though it’s most likely gonna be the same as the normal Amplified version.

I'm really glad that the cannons can fold back - in its first appearances it did that with them when they weren't in use, but that feature hasn't been shown for a while.
I remember in DW 1 he was designed differently.... with a white face and side mounted back cannons

The Infinity Hand attack is fired from the right arm and is visualized as an energy beam or sometimes as a rocket with a shark face.
The Claw Arm, or Trident Arm, is attached to the Arm via a cable and can fire off and attack foes from a distance, reel them in if he stabs them.
The chest pieces, Giga Destroyers, fire off more shark faced missiles.
Infinity Cannons fire big energy beams. They're awesome.
Recently added are lasers that fire from Mugendramon's tail in a scatter pattern.

I LOVE these amplified digimon! I already have Gallantmon and Black metal Garurumon but havent even opened them! maybe one day soon but I cant wait to get machinedramon too!

I just ordered one of these I’m so excited
This one is still the best Amplified so far. As I own this kit I surprised with so much things about this kit.
1. This kit hide seamline very well unlike the previous Amplified releases. Maybe because he is a full mecha so every part of his body act as a panel line.
2. So much surface detail! I initially want to add some detail but it seem unnecessary to do that. There is no space left to add the details. Instead you can try painting some parts in different colors to make him better.
3. I actually surprised with the range of articulation! I thought he will be like Wargreymon Amplified which is sucks but not. Though he may got some balancing issue because of the weight but I suggest get an Action Base 5 to support him if you put on display.
4. There is no need to paint in case you prefer straight build because this kit is molded in metallic silver injection. Unlike the lame Omegamon X with has lame gold and silver injection this one has appearance as full metal look.
Overall review I'm impressed with this kit. The price in not expensive too considering this one is a huge kit. The best Amplified kit so far..
As for which arm is actually firing a missile, its the right arm which is based on Megadramon arm, (you can see the round thing in middle palm similar to dual round missile on the chest) while the left arm which is obviously based on Metalgreymon is only can do attack named Trident Arm which is expand the wire gimmick to do mid range stabbing style attack. Too bad the wire launching gimmick isn't present on this kit.

@@Matanumi okay. Imagine the SHFiguarts Machinedramon at same size. The price would be around 10,000 yen or more. But this is lesser than that. At the price lesser than high range MG this is a worth buy plus this kit is solid as hell. I thought at this size the kit would be lighter and hollow. Nothing feel that this kit is overpriced.
I got him and it's pretty much the first model kit I work on. Like you said I was wondering if he really needs additional painting as everything looks like ready to just place everything together. I also have wargreymon to work on after this.

Once Mecha started talking about the kit, I figured he didn’t know much about Digimon
I just finished wiring mine up with LEDs through out the whole kit. Love this guy but has trouble standing, might be cause of all the extra wiring I did though.
Also love how you had the right legs hip joint on wrong in the video.

Its accurate. The actual art has an incomplete tail too. It uses it for a bunch of lasers in Adventure 2020 which I'm suprised they didn't include as an option.

I built it, put some leds on the translucent red parts, looks awesome!
You asked for the ins and outs of the attacks and I'll try my best to deliver,
The right hand is from megadramon is the one that fires projectiles (missiles, and energy blasts)
the left arm is from metal greymon, it is known as the trident arm, it is able to launch out on a mechanized chain and retract back in
The 2 bfgs on the back are the cannon arms from metal mamemon, these combined are known as the infinity cannons (or was it hyper infinity cannons
The chest is also from metal greymon and fires not only the giga destroyer (which is 2 organic missiles) but also the giga storm
The tails abilities changes depending on continuity, the 2 main ones are a laser tail extension acting as a whip and the other is the tail opening up to reveal a bunch of lasers
Finally the head, the upper head is from megadramon and the lower jaw is from metal tyrannamon, these combined together are able to bite through practically anything
That's all I can remember off the top of my head, sorry for the long read.

Right shoots a blast of energy or organic missiles like the digimon it came from megadramon. The left works like Metalgreymons trident arm and shoots out attached to a metal cable to attack and capture enemies. His chest also opens to fire Metalgreymons giga destroyer

Dude that’s one massive beast of a model kit 😯😯. But then again Machinedramon is one of the four Dark masters of the digital world & the largest of the four so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised 😯 but I’m amazed Bandai pulled all of the stops & could please build Metal garurumon I like wolves 🐺🙏😎.

You can use gundam hangar for pose, pose machinedramon/mugendramon bent down, and give him more cable for aesthetic

I pre-ordered this kit! But sadly the shop hasn’t received it yet, problem on the distributors part, but I’m still excitedly waiting! Review the X-antibody Omegamon next, he has some cool extra parts that let you use parts from Dukemon and Mugendramon.
Machinedramon was the last boss of the PS1 Digimon game and I absolutely freak out when I have to face him cuz I was 9 years old, run the game blind, no guide and barely know english.
I'm getting that Omegamon X Antibody so I vote for that next but I'm also interested in getting the other two so hopefully you review all of them!

I absolutely love this kit. My only complaints are how easily the arms fall off. I don't have the means to thicker the arm pegs rn, and I have to go and fix his arms every so often because the arms will simply fall off after they sit there for a while.

Fun fact Machinedramon is a type of Chimera himself all of his parts come from 5 other Digimon but no one is sure of its basis the cannons come from Metalmamemon the lower jaw and right arm from Metaltyrannomon the Giga Destroyer and Trident Arm from Metalgreymon the kneecaps from Andromon and the helmet from Megadramon

I'm working on this model kit right now(as of this comment),
And I'm a bit worried about the translucent red pieces on the left arm popping out.
As in, there's nothing locking those parts in place, aside from a single peg.
Meaning they could pop out if I press on them, causing me to use a parts separator to put them back in. Should I glue those pieces to be safe?
As a Digimon fan I approve
I have this kit and I love it. One thing of note is that the cables in the neck and tail are a GODDAMN PAIN to put into position properly. The tail is a bigger pain because it has to turn over to reach the end in both sides.
Other than that this kit is perfect.

still thinking did the non amplified one more cheaper or something so they make other metalgaruru and wargreymon for some reason. So yeah maybe Omegamon X first want to know what the diffrent for OG omegamon amplified and the X one event the box them self can say it.
Maybe at the end of the year you can create new categories for other model kits for your best gunpla of the year video seeing how great other model kits are nowadays!

Mugendramon or Machinedramon is a digimon chimera. Almost all of it's body parts are taken from other cyborg digimon. His left arm and chest are Metalgreymon's, right arm and upper head is from Gigadramon/Megadramon, his jaw is Metaltyrannomon's, his cannons are from Metalmamemons and his kneecaps are Andromon heads.
