Not real time due to delay in travel time for the signal. However depending on where the ISS was during the interview it might have been less of a delay than a bicoastal or international interview.
Zero G, not zero gravity. You could be at the top of a building at the same height as the ISS and you would feel relatively the same as at ground level. What they experience is weightlessness bc they are flying around the Earth so fast.

Stephen loves the fact that in some way, he's in space since most of us since we were young have wanted to be in space and gaze upon the earth. Loved when Stephen commented on her saying looking down on Earth since I was thinking the same thing the whole time since u could be both looking up or down at earth, also loved how she flew off like superman at the end

One of the coolest interviews ever. Great that she emphasized how being polite and kind to each other is so important. After all, we're all really quarantined on this one small planet. 6 people 200 miles up are a great example of how to do it right.

This interview was sooo amazing! She is extremely calm, friendly and articulate; I also liked seeing the banner with so many flags behind her, it truly gives a sense of international community; and seeing her flipping while explaining "up and down" was the best cherry on the cake! 👏👏😍

Don't worry, I had a big one a while ago when I realized that when one skydiver pulls the chute it doesn't make them suddenly shoot up into the sky, it's that the person holding the camera hasn't pulled theirs yet. Once they do that's when they even out again. For years i thought when you pull your chute you go up real fast then start going down slowly. I'm a dunce, I'm aware.
This is why science is so important for everyone to learn even from young...cuz that parachute thing is basic physics and understanding perspective. It's literally the same as someone driving alongside u then hitting the brakes while you continue moving

It's because of how this was filmed. Stephen has a camera in front of him, and then another one on the side with the guest, but he's not looking at the guest. Although you could see that sometimes he'd get curious and look at the other camera, like near the end for example.

@@BobPagani they are floating, but they're tied to a cord to keep them secure like most everything else is in one way or another. I think you probably meant why aren't they moving. They aren't moving because the space station is designed to have as still an atmosphere as possible because moving air in weightlessness makes things that aren't sufficiently secured float around which can cause all kinds of problems.

@@BobPagani they are floating, but they're tied to a cord to keep them secure like most everything else is in one way or another. I think you probably meant why aren't they moving. They aren't moving because the space station is designed to have as still an atmosphere as possible because moving air in weightlessness makes things that aren't sufficiently secured float around which can cause all kinds of problems.

@Steven sadly i dont know much but i would assume the people who created it would have made many emergency options available, including landing it from out of space.
i doubt they would be helpless without help from earth ... either that or the genius level people who created it never thought of communication failure ?
