It’s funny how the Undertale fandom is too focused on other stuff to remember the true terrifying nature of Flowey. And this just literally personifies it.
I think its because canonly he wouldn't do this since he gets compassion from everyone else whet the souls are at merged in him. He loses the "lack of feeling" needed to go this far. Since most want after story aus, no one really thinks to change it so he can't feel even with the souls bc people are too afraid to leave canon since everyone who died gets attacked for it. Im actually surprised at the lack of hate here for simply making chara nice. People hate that since it ruins their precious genocide hradcanons lol

In Undertale Hyperdeath Asriel was just as cruel and ruthless as he was as Flowey, it is only by saving the lost souls of the main monsters that Asriel is able to start caring about others again by feeling their love for Frisk. In Inverted Fate that never happened, so Flowey/Asriel never was able to regain his empathy.

My favorite thing about this is how much darker and awkward everything seems with each of the characters having some mistake that they needed to atone for. Toriel was so well written her dialogue was tense and her expressions were so well done. And I'm saying this before flowey does what he does his betrayal. Edit: after watching the full thing I am shaken to the point to where I am speechless, and THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN OFTEN MEANING YOU HAVE CREATED A MASTERPIECE.
Nearing the end now.... also never realized this until I checked the games folder, but when Frisk said the "I DEFENDED you" part, you can barely see it, but they have red eyes. Neat.
Oh wow I was waiting for the end for a loooong time. This whole AU is based of flowey's reset, and the lies he told frisk and papyrus, and now we finally get to see his endgame
Asriel won the final battle in the pacifist run but coudnt control his powers and corrupted the timeline switching people's places ( only sans papyrus asgore toriel and undyne the rest of the monsters are the same ) but keeping their personalities frisk Also forgot everything about the "reset" and the corruption gave them a personality at least one more Open unlike in undertale Thats the shortest / spoiler free way i have to explain it
The ending with papyrus touched me. I’ve read the whole comic 2 times and have recently caught up with the videos. This just touched me that it’s almost done
The fact that is, the fangame make this explicit thats THIS IS ASRIEL and not an flower that was an person one day, like every au. The fact that he was kinda changed during the old fight and breaks his promisse in the old timeline..
After diving deep into this AU i absolutely ADORED IT, it just has so much passion and love put into it, not to mention all the amazing storylines. (Personal fav being Undyne's) Can't wait to see what's up next!
I’m really hoping this continues. This is the main Undertale-related thing (besides Deltarune) that has kept me stuck to the fanbase and I really enjoy this AU.
I first figured out this game existed through Scratch (yeah, surprisingly all the boss fights were smooth, fun, challenging, and ran great! Better than nothing, considering I have no PC so I get my games from the... Library Computer) So seeing a continuation of Toriels fight? Masterpiece, even if I skip the whole web comic and it didn't continue how the Scratch Vr did.

And the only source (Papyrus) that can indicate that he sleeps a lot, is not reliable. It's not Sans who sleeps a lot, it's Papyrus who almost never sleeps. (Undyne and even Papyrus himself say so.)
because in this AU he is stonger due to his royal guard training, and his armor he is wearing so he is not 1hp here, and flowey was weakening his attack too

Well you see, Asgore did different actions in Inverted Fate that led to Toriel saying that. Such as declaring war after Asriel and Chara's death like UT and killing the first human child after Chara to fall into the underground, but then regretting it and not wanting to do it again, or even cross the barrier to get more human souls with the one he already got. And then he leaves his position as King which then leaves Toriel to deal with the mess Asgore created across the underground. Toriel is in the right to be mad at Asgore for doing all that and call him a coward, even if he redeemed himself over the decades by caring for the ruins and swearing not to kill another child, he still has to live with that guilt and Toriel will likely never forgive him for that. You would know all of that if you read the rest of comic, which if you don't have the time to do so, you probably shouldn't make assumptions about certain characters you don't know in this AU.
