If someone ran hose without motor running and oil is milky white and 4x normal level how would you clean that up? Planning on changing oil and would like to just try to suck any water out intake with oil extractor but think I'm going to have to pull manifold to make sure. Then try to turn in drown mode for bit prior to trying to start. Anything else i should do and/or what else should be done ?
Drain the oil. Fill with fresh oil. Pull plugs and crank until all the water is out of the cylinders. And for good measure I’d change the oil once more
@@SEsGarage I am in the process of pulling the pump. 2 questions please: When I remove the pump, can I start/run the jetski just to see if the sound is gone? do I need to remove the drive shaft if I happen to do that?
@@TheManWhoSawTomorrow you can run it with the pump out, however, if you have an issue with your pump, it will be very obvious when you pull it out try to spin the pump and see how it sounds. You can pull the driveshaft toward the rear of the machine to disengage it from the rubber coupler
Great video working on same issue in NJ
Howd you beat the pistons ?
thank you
Is it possible to repair and re-use the housing when it gets to this point?
Watch some of my later videos…we do just that
So if the jet spins, and it still makes the locked up noise, the motor is probly blown?
Yup
I cannot get power to my ski I have the exact same one I put a fresh battery in it and I don't have power anywhere any suggestions

@SEsGarage I have heard on these motors water gets stuck in intake due to design. 1630ace seadoo motor. Do you not think I need to pull intake?
If a jet pump is seized, can the motor still turn over?
No, the jet pump is directly splined to the crank shaft of the engine
Hello,
Can you tell me if my engine is damaged? I don't know why it sounds like this.

That sounds like pump noise. Pull the pump and inspect
@@SEsGarage Thanks. I will do that and hopefully that's the culprit.
