Also, an easy way to make it unsinkable, would be to fill it with ping pong balls, toy ball pit balls, or even tennis balls (although those would add a lot of weight to the boat). one last tip, You could even possibly consider incorporating, or using some vinyl billboard material, (and a glue called HH-66, for the seams). It could make an easy, and very light weight floor for the boat. Obviously we all want to see a part 2. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Great video! Did you Cyanoacrylate glue (Super Glue) for the initial fiberglass tacking? Also what weight fiberglass cloth did you use? How many layers did you end up applying?
Pure genius! I never thought of using chicken wire! Is the first layer on the chicken wire tissue paper then add resin then fiberglass then resin again? Just wondering how sturdy it is after the resin and fiber glass cloth has harden. Looking forward to Part 2! Like/Subscribe/Bell

What kind of paper are you using?
That's hardware cloth. Chicken wire is much flimsier and has much larger mesh. Significant cost difference as well.
