Refering to the norm and the elite players allows to actually qualify somebody's level with more accuracy. The contrary is way more weird and leads to grubs going berserk because they can't understand why they're getting f'd online while they beat their neighbors only doing Hadouken and sweeps...
Daigo knowledge and managing on his Drive Bars is immaculate, Tokido was doing very well the first set but was burning bars like a madman, but you can feel he got desperate in the last 2, burning the bars even faster, Daigo defense and offence was on point, his Ken really is looking clean.
The only resource Diago isn't managing well is super arts. Tokido was spending his bars to win matches consistently. Diago was leaving most of his potential untouched. Can't wait for Diago to work more supers into his combos.

Drive rush adds plus frames to every normal. Tokido wasn't expecting his drive rush jab to hit so Daigo was still in hit stun. You can't grab people in hit stun so the grab whiffed.
