@@paulgerards6494 actually no, these are the stock humbuckers this H-575 came with. I did remove the cover plates though.

@@paulgerards6494 to give the sound a bit more air and a more vocal quicker response time. This is a thick top and I wanted a little more immediacy out of it. I do this with most of my humbucker guitars.
