So, make the box as tight around the 110, 220, 330 as possible? Give them as little room as possible so they have to enter through the interior of the trap?
Michael Meisberger I'm not sure about the mink, but if you watch the other videos I have up, the weasel enters right through the center of the triggers.
That was really cool but I can't get over how many times that mink went in and out of that box without setting that trap off...crazy lol...be safe and happy trapping buddy
Well that's just too funny LOL A piss off for you yes but still funny to see them work that trap. looked like the mink was going over the trap between it and the box but it doesn't look like there was that much room there. are you using pans or triggers? trying to figure out how he pulled it off with out getting snapped.
Wax them 120's (nothing larger for safety) and they will fire beautiful! Also use a U shape trigger bend with a piece of heavy mono tied across the U tips. It will be the last time that mink goes into the box. Great footage!
The video doesn't lie. If not for the video you would probably just have re-bait and figure it was just bad luck. It shows you how you might improve your set so the same thing is not repeated. Maybe wiring a stick over the trap so the mink can't go over so easily. Better luck next check. I'm sure the mink will be waiting on your return. That mink is some smart to get in and out multiple times like that and never even trigger the trap.
you're a friendly environmentalist feeding the mink like that....make sure they're big and fat to catch at the end of the season. in all honesty...i bet you got frustrated at him...
What are you using for bait? It's a winner and I want to try it!
Beaver, that’s all we use in our boxes. 👍✌️
Those 2 were too smart for that set up. Aggravating!
Fun to watch though, it can’t always be about the catch. 👍✌️
Did you ever catch this mink?
Lol I don’t remember. 👍✌️
Those things were slick lol , get em next time 👍

You must have had that trap welded open lol.
I feel your pain.
Trail cameras are like fish finders.
They let you know what you're not catching😋
Those damn weasels... Thanks for this footage!
Nice to see what really happens.
Lol he sure cleaned that box some slick with not much worry man hes one lucky critter!!!Cheers bud!!
Great footage of your mink set. now you know what is needed to catch the bait thief....lol
Bradley Coles hey! hows your trapping season so far
Trapping has been going good so far, but the weather is to warm and I need it to freeze up to access my winter lines.
and just think we always blame the weasel for stealing the bate

crstrapping yes it's kinda cool to see them go in and out like that, but aggravating as well at the same time.
Timmins Wild Bush Cafe, where if you go home hungry it's your own damn fault 😉😂 LOL!
fold the trigger wires over and put a choroplast pan on there and catch the bait robber....LOL
that mink and weasel went to school lol
Terry Heiman yes, but neither of them came home with me. Lol

Good thing your not depending on that trap for your food supply. Lol. Good video.
I'm not but that mink was.

You should put “losing my religion” as the background music I’m sure you were more than a little frustrated over that 🤪
284Winchester I do love trapping, but i also live for those 🤔 moments. 👍✌️
I'd be trying conibear pans if I were you.
Nail a rat trap to the tree .

Doug Fairburn I did get a little frustrated with him, but it does make good videos.
