WOW, that hour glass figure to go with her gorgeous face. Honestly, that is almost too gorgeous!! I would have died if I was crew member and had to look at her all day. That is pure cruelty! Like put a massive cake in front of a 400 fat person and telling them they can't look or touch. lol
And yet people were so against Bob Barker (RIP) when he had an affair with her. I never could blame him for that, although I know he was the power on the show and held her job over her, etc. There was a power imbalance, certainly. Anyone would die for a night with Dian.
It's kind of sad that people today don't understand the pre-computer age. Nowadays you can just get on the internet and look up who you want. Back in the early 80's, VCRs weren't common, you had to catch the show, hope she was in a swimsuit or your day was ruined. Of course some would argue that made it more fun, the anticipation, then the reward but it could be agonizing.
If you really wanted to preserve the sight, you would try taking a picture with a camera, particularly a Polaroid with a print no one else would have to develop. It wouldn't come out that well.
To the best of my knowledge, the VCR did not hit North America until the year 1979. There were some VCRs before that, but they were very expensive. Only the super-wealthy can afford them. That means before the year 1979, you can only watch shows exactly at the time that they broadcast.
